Yes but there's a reason why so many Leeeds fans travel away. Having worked there I can say it's an utter toilet and most people are glad to have an excuse for getting out that hole, even if it's only for a few hours.

I don't live in Leeds so can't really comment!

Question for WhiteRose_LUFC.

You mentioned, a few months ago, to DaveTG that Leeds don't see Huddersfield as their rivals!

Can we take it, from your persistent posts on this board, that you see Brighton as Leeds rivals?

Cool.
Our league away average this season is 2,670 or there abouts I think.

Ignore bhaexpress..he is menopausal

Leeds are always going to have a bigger away support than us, in that you can fill a ground with 30k supporters every week when you ae going well.

As I said below, where I think Leeds are falling into the trap is that when Reid was manager he thought that buying players others didn't want would get success obviously that did not happen and you are wher you are...Town did the same under Ruberry and Steve Bruce when they were looking to get to the Premiershite.....leeds seem to be going the same way with Ricketts etc. Having said that Healey is a class signing.

I am very surprised you are chasing the holy grail that is premier football...with the debts etc I would have thought consolidation was more the goal

Don't worry, you'll get the chance to make an arse of yourself to the people on their message board too when you play them in League One next season. :salute:

Oh for sure, I don't generally go in for this whole we take XXX away from hoe and you only bring XXX so we're a bigger/better/nicer/whatever club. Bring ten people or ten thousand away from home, does it really matter so long as each of them goes to support their team.

Ricketts will be off in the summer, and we'll lose another 19 whose contracts are up which is going to free up some big money for our debts/new signings etc. Why Ridsdale decided paying the kids £4k a week was a good idea I don't know.

I am not really sure they are 'chasing' the premiership as so many people have put it. Obviously that is the aim, isn;t it for every club but I don't see them throwing money at it. Heck, if any one can learn a lesson from throwing money at their future it is us.

There was one name on the team sheet when the 'team' returned for pre-season last year, we've given 24 debuts this season but have only paid a fee for 4 of those players, there are a few random loan signings, several kids/academy youth playing and free transfers.

People can say what they want, but for Blacky to create a team that is safe this season, virtually entirely from scratch is pretty darn impressive.

editted-

Our debts are now just under £9million, which is in line with most other football clubs. It is all restructured into proper, sensible payments and while it'd be nice to get rid of it for good it's not such a pressing concern that we had to sell everything to meet payments.

Since you asked - :p

Reading - Leeds (on a Tues night) 3,029. Brighton 2,929

West Ham - Leeds (police capped and Fri night on TV) 2,254. Brighton 2,646.

Gillingham - Leeds (Tues night) 1,372. Brighton 1,363.

We haven't played QPR yet but it is already sold out, upper and lower tier and we've not played Watford yet.

AAARRRGGHHH!!

How many more times!! Brighton are a smaller club and are less well supported than Leeds United and we have never pretended to be any different.

My point was that the grounds mentioned give a better indication than quite possibly the furthest ground from us in this division.

I welcome other fans on this board but this thread is just pointless.

My post was entirely tongue in cheek, I am not here on a wind up or to spout any "Leeds are big" "Leeds are great" such things. I don't think I have ever said anything like that, I'm a nice Leeds fan :p

Fairs fair, Starry unlike Wank Rose does make sensible posts on here and is not a wind up merchant.

I know Starry, it wasnt directed at you at all. I was really responding to thread starter.

I really shouldn't get annoyed by someone who is quite obviously either on half term or is of limited intelligence
