Which player do you think NUFC Should worry the most about on Saturday and why?
Will Buckley at the moment, he'll leave your full backs for dead and Forster-Caskey if he plays only 17 and has a big future

Which player should we least worry about and why?
Vicente, he has bones made of Polystyrene, so injury prone he's been dropped from the treatment bench
Out of the players we have available for this game who do you think will cause you the most problems?
Cabaye he looks a class act

Who do you think you will cause you the least amount of problems? (Insert Shola here for an easy answer )
Demba Ba and Chuck Tiote I refuse to say Shola on the grounds that the more people say he's shite the more chance there is of him having a blinder
I know I've been very impressed with your current team and the Championship is so tight at the top this year, but which position do you think you will end up in this season?
At the start I would have been happy to stay in this division, but the season we've had so far has been fantastic and mid-table as long as its above Cripple Palarse would make me very happy
I know we are in different leagues, but what do you think of us and where will we end up this season?
I like Newcastle, fantastic stadium with passionate fans and club that should be challenging the top six teams. You've had a great season so far and if you can keep it going while Ba and Tiote are away then a top 6 place is a realistic aim
Do you have an opinion on Alan Pardew?
He'll get found out sooner or later, that said our very own Gus said last season "The table eet doss not Lie"
Last, but not least, what are your predictions and scorers?
I predict that Pies will sell out in the away end before the match starts and Beer not long after.

Yes, just the once. Our record against him is W4 D3 L1

Brighton 3-1 Reading
Reading 0-0 Brighton
Brighton 0-1 Reading
Reading 1-2 Brighton
West Ham 0-1 Brighton
Brighton 2-2 West Ham
Southampton 1-3 Brighton
Brighton 2-2 Southampton

Thanks, now you mention it I seem to recall that was a late handball goal by Nicky Forster for Reading.

We do seem to hold the Indian sign over Pardew though so here's to at least a draw on Saturday

1. Craig Noone
2. Vicente & our 2 full-backs
3. Ben Arfa & Guttierez
4. Shola
5. 6th or 8th
6. Had a good run ,but the bubble will burst as you have no strength in depth. 9th
7. He's doing well, so though not a big fan I recognise his achievement to date
8. Be ready for a shock ! remember 1983. I reckon a draw here and an against the odds Albion win in the replay. Newcastle never do well down here.
I remember years back when you had Mickey Quinn and Mark McGhee as your twin strikers and you came to The Goldstone. I went along to watch Quinny and McGhee cos they were exceptional strikers and I expected us to get hammered. We won 4 v 1 and our reserve centre forward (who we'd hardly ever seen) called Brian Wade scored all 4 goals. It was a real turn-up. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !!

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
For me its a shame Fulham gave Newcastle a bit of a doing 2nd half on saturday, no chance of them taking the game lightly now in my opinion, much like Liverpool I see us struggling to break Newcastle down, lots of nice play up to a certain point without being able to find that final ball. Then all of us saying "if only" Vicente was fit...

But im sure an enjoyable game to watch.

A big welcome to the Amex to all Newcastle fans. I hope you like our new home but accept you have to go a long way to beat St. James' Park. We have quite a good record against you in the Cup so you might be a little nervous. We saw off Sunderland earlier in the season so its down to you to restore the reputation of North East soccer. After the game could you let us know the colour of lightbuld in your concourse? Seagull fans will understand the relevance of the question! Perhaps you can pick up a black and white striped light bulb from B&Q on the way down.

Have mixed loyalties as I support both teams!

  1. Which player do you think NUFC Should worry the most about on Saturday and why?

Buckley as hes looked lively last few matches
  2. Which player should we least worry about and why?

Mackail-Smith because as good as he is, he seems to have lost his scoring touch!
  3. Out of the players we have available for this game who do you think will cause you the most problems?

Ben Arfa - hes a class act
  4. Who do you think you will cause you the least amount of problems? (Insert Shola here for an easy answer )
    Shola definitely! ;)
  5. I know I've been very impressed with your current team and the Championship is so tight at the top this year, but which position do you think you will end up in this season?

Mid-table, and I'll be happy with that (consolidate for a few seasons before pushing on to the premiership)
  6. I know we are in different leagues, but what do you think of us and where will we end up this season?

Having a much better season than I thought they would, I think Newcastle will be in Europe next year.
  7. Do you have an opinion on Alan Pardew?

Wasn't convinced when he took over, and still not 100% sure but team is playing well this season.
  8. Last, but not least, what are your predictions and scorers?

I could sit on the fence here, but I'm going to go with a Newcastle win (2-1) but only after you've come from behind as Brighton will score first!
That was so confusing it reminds me of a 2 Ronnies sketch!

Why does it have to be Newcastle. No one gets excited. And the whole world expects the lower division team to win.

No one on the Wing ?

Radford 35 yards, Buckley scored from 50 yards last week.

Captain Sparrow will ferry the ball from midfield to attack. No one on the left wing.

1.Will Buckley, he shoots, he scores.

2. No one, they are all capable.

3. Arfa or Kruhl.

4. Shola :)

5. 9th

6. You've had a good season, 7th would be about right.

7. Remind him that the team that finishes 2nd in the league is not the best.
8. 1-0 to us, BUCKLEY.

Hi All,

I'm from nufc-forum.com, 1zebedee23 is my name over that way. We were hoping we could get your view on the up and coming FA Cup match. It would be great if you could answer these questions so we get a flavor of what to expect!
have available for this game who do you think will cause you the most problems?

I can't pretend to know much about the current Newcastle team against Fulham. It was almost like the reserves with a few first teamers. Is Steve Taylor still injured?

NUFC.com - 2011/12 Senior Squad

What team do you expect to put out?

I can't see Pardew not playing a safety first 4-4-2. That means the left footed Ben Afur will be on the bench for you? We have a choice of four left-sided winger/midfielders, all of whom were injured for most of the Peterborough match, Jake Forster-Caskey going off early in the game.

I expect you will play Haris Vučkić.

I haven't got a clue who Gus will play. He did not play the first team against Liverpool drafting in youngster Cook in defence, and against Sunderland we had a makeshift defence because of injuries.
