   Younis Cabaye - pace and a point to make but Ben Arfa could crucify us with his pace if he wants to

   8th or 9th

   Not sure if you have the strength in depth to sustain a challenge for europe. Feel you may fall away at the end of the season but you have a pacy and exciting team in the best Toon traditions and can be great to watch.
   
7. Do you have an opinion on Alan Pardew?
   Have any of the players complained about him perving on their wives yet? Tactically not a bad manager and he has you punching above your weight so well done to him
   
8. Last, but not least, what are your predictions and scorers?
   2-2 and back to your place with CMS breaking his duck and Buckley for us - Cabaye and Ben Arfa for you

8th just miss out on the play-offs. A good first season back in the Championship.

Can't stand him. Gus seems to have the 'Indian sign' on him in any case. Loves himself.

Will Buckley and Craig Mackail-Smith. I'm sure you know all about Lualua if he's available.
All are lightning fast and the former is arguably our best player, scoring 6 goals from 5 attempts on target. (Don't ask)

Which ever one you worry about least, will probably score, all of our players are capable of scoring (apart from our strikers of late... and Brezovan obviously)

Ignore the fact that he's an ex Palace scumbag. Or when finishing behind Brighton in 2002 and his "the best team didn't win the league" comments. Also ignoring that he is a bad loser, or always seems to be when involved with us. Even ignore the fact he also managed Southampton, and ended up having an affair with his captains missus. If you discount those things then nothing against him at all

Will Buckley – has been in inspired form of late. Also watch out for young Jake Forster-Caskey, not to be underestimated.

On our day, all of the players on the pitch can do their job well. However one player who if he is having a bad day you won’t need to worry about is Ashley Barnes.

Newcastle are an excellent side. So will go with Shola…

Would love to say 6th, but head says just outside the play-offs, ready for next year. This league has too many sides better than us.

First rate wanker. Ask him who won Division 2 in 2001/02 and he won’t admit it was us…

Why do you guys hate Pardew so much? Is it the Palace and Soton connection or did he do something specific?

His time at Reading. He was one of the most graceless losers when we beat them to the title in '03. Him, along with the vast majority of the reawoken Reading seemed to think that we were unworthy winners, despite taking four points off them and finishing top of the pile. He then proceeded to buy everyone that we wished to purchase (with his superior kitty) - Steve Brown, Ingimarsson, Sidwell and perhaps a couple of others.

A sour faced prick whom got beaten by a better team with an inferior budget. By jove, I enjoyed that victory at the Madejski the following season. We were eventually relegated, but we stuck one up them towards the end of the season. 2-1 to the Champions

The twonk then played a hugely weakened team on the last day of the season to save themselves for the playoffs, which thankfully they lost, but pretty much sealed our fate of a heroic last day escape act (if we hadn't drawn against Grimsby )

I don't think it had much to do with his Palace links, although I don't think he endeared himself during his spell with Southampton.
