Like many people I have started to wonder who might be lining up for us next season. I grabbed the squad list and started by assuming the loan players all return to their parent clubs.

Which players have contracts expiring this summer? I'm hoping one is Kemy...

Sign Halford, I've no idea about Bennett. We need to add another CB on top of Halford and at least one LB.

The midfield looks pretty decent, especially when Crofts is back and with Rea possibly coming into the first team. We need one more attacking midfielder to replace Tex.

Add another wide player to LuaLua, March and, at times, Calde, and that should be decent.

As for the strikers, give CMS another year and play to his strengths. Play Baldock in the centre where he's effective and bring in one very good forward. Not sure if Fenelon is up to it, but he'd make a good back up to those three if he develops okay. I like some of O'Grady's play, but he hasn't contributed enough really.

Comparing the squad to last seasons, we have replaced excellent players with mediocre ones and suffered for it.

We've replaced Kuszczak with Stockdale, Barnes with Baldock and Andrews/Bridcutt with Kayal.

Now we need to replace Upson, Ulloa, Ward and Buckley.

Easy.

What NSC needs is it's own page listing the contract situation of every professional at the club. In an ideal world, it would look something like this:- NSC's brilliant Albion player contract duration page

Can we please keep Carayol, I like him and what I have seen of him at least he looks like he wants to be there, and he puts in decent crosses into the box. Also keep Halford.
