Brighton sex infections highest in UK outside London

Great story and good to see we are in the promotion places in something.

Understandable with all the Gays I guess but I loved this line

Young women are “particularly vulnerable” and often “lack the skills and confidence to negotiate safer sex”,

Brighton and Hove sex infections highest outside London From The Argus)

How many are bareback riders on here ?

Pride anyone ?

NOTHING to do with being Gay or Straight though is it.....So bit rude to be honest to assume that.

I never realised you needed to be a good negotiator to practice safe sex have I missed out on a change in policy? Are people supposed to make agreements and get forms signed before making entry?

Well it is if you read the article. More infections amongst Gay men of which Brighton has a higher number.

I see we are also top of the drugs death table as well.

Makes you proud

i don't know any gay people who've caught an std

but i know a LOT of straight people who have

Men are generally more promiscuous than women, therefore gay men are generally more promiscuous than anyone, therfore are more susceptable to passing STIs.

That's the accepted theory, it's not homophobic. It may well be outdated now due to greater awareness of STIs in the last few years.

or maybe some right liars and some that tell the truth

How do we ever know who's got what.

Can't see many people telling their mates of their dripping red raw nob

"Some of the areas listed may have higher concentrations of gay men, pushing up the STI diagnoses for that area, according to the HPA." not the same as"More infections amongst Gay men" the issue/problem is with age/ignorance/proper protection

The main sti for gay people is the big one though. A lot of the sti's can only be passed from Woman to Man and vice versa.
