My point is Palace could easily afford LB. As could any Prem club. It seems Bannan has put paid to any interest in LB thou. Like it or not, promotion was worth a minimum of £120m (that's just the Sky money, not all the extra income the prem brings). This gives Prem clubs financial muscle when dealing with Championship clubs (but not other prem clubs).

It also brings in larger running costs.
Your squad was probably 24 players before the start of the panic buying season. Add the 14 you have signed this window, probably all on minimum 3 year deals, thatwill be some wage bill.
Yes you will get more Sky money, but with you ramshackle hovel sold out you will only have about 18-21 thousand max, and the running costs, more stewards, twice as many Met Police etc, and then there is the ground improvements that will have to be met.
I can see you going pop again in the near future when you get relegated.

Wahooo at last we score 2 v the scum. The only thing that's come out of the last 24hrs is confirmation palace r one of the most unprofessional tinpot clubs going. Literally!

You mean professional like Brighton? Shitting on changing room floors, sacking manager while he is on live TV?

No chance at all. Whether you agree with their choice of players or not, they are spending relatively sensibly. Their board, comedy haircuts aside, are decent and will not allow financial mismanagement as seen before and, like it or not, Palace have been nicely set up for the next few years after their success of last season."

Neither of which are actually true of course, but don't let that stop you...

Haha you started so well DFW but now coming across as the normal deluded nigel bellend tw*t

The day started so well for palace going for all these players you was all getting so excited. Your going to end up with no players good enough that will give you a chance of avoiding being relegated. I know I'm laughing.

Look inwards at yourselves first, and Gus wasn't sacked on air, but you already know this.

BBS is funny though, one minute Liam is a perfect fit, next he's overrated and your fat bloke, KG is it, is much better.

I think we are the next level . Tomorrow will be intresting .

Very interesting (yawn). Did you muppets really believe that you could attract him to Palace??

Still good business for you getting rid of Dobbie, assume the Dobbie man of the match bullsh@t will now stop. Good signing getting Mariappa too; decent player. Bannan and bendter though......

Relying on loans it is then. Happy we got away without losing Barnes, Bridders or Ulloa though.

If the timing is right 93 day loans can be converted into full season ones, or even permanent signings once the January window opens.

So they attempt to cause unrest, get nowhere nr signing either of our best players, stink of desperation trying to panic buy anyone going, invade nsc in hope of some gloating and yet the biggest news of the day in a bha v palace perspective is that the player we mugged them off for 800k for 2 months ago has been loaned to Hudds (and palace will def be paying a large % of his over inflated wages he's stuck on for a 2 / 3 yr contract...!)

Amazing what 24hrs can do... :ffsparr: :ffsparr: :ffsparr:

Hey, no worries, happy to assist. Give it 12 months and you'll be pretty much in our position except maybe with larger overheads and a worse ground.

Do you want to have a bet on that, obviously proceeds split between REMF and Leukemia charity.
£500 Palace are in a higher position on transfer deadline day 2014?
