Why isn't Northern Lights a pub ?

It has a counter where you have to go to get drinks which has draft beer pumps on it ( and draft vodka ). No table service.

Can't see where the distinction is which marks this out as 'not a pub'.

Ok, so a pub has to have real ale?

None of Northern Lights is a restaurant ( although they have a food menu like a lot of pubs ), just tables where you can drink your God Lager, or whatever else you fancy.
