One of the guys in the picture got home that night and his dad said did you see any trouble? He said no he hadn't and his dad threw the Argus at him and said what's that then!!A couple of picks mick droy and kerfuffles in the white horse as the Bosun look on!
Your memory must be going. I can't remember Brighton being low key at home to Palarse at the Goldstone. Must have been held back at Hove station.sage ,there were 6 of us on Brighton station concourse when their train came in from Hove after the game ,felt slightly uncomfortable about the whole experience ,seemed Brighton were low key that day

Yeah remember that. No Albion around at all that day it seemed.
Boxing day 82? Held back after the game because a palace fan had been stabbed. At selhurst.
turned out a good firm that day still had an outside chance of promotion ,smashed the club shop windows after the game after making an attempt to get into the north stand and legged a few Brighton behind the West stand, were you one of them ?

I knew some faces that are in the picture but to put names to them now after all these years is nigh impossible. The only one I know very well is on the topish right.Would the face to the right of the policeman be a young Colin Swift by any chance? he just seems familiar.
