If the Greens do badly here it'll probably be because of ward boundary changes, a reaction to them leading the Council through Covid, a recession and dealing with cuts and the national swing to Labour. What concerns me as a democrat is that Labour will probably try to introduce a cabinet style of council which will disenfranchise anyone who didn't vote for them.

Nothing to do with low recycling rates, weed covered pavements, the inability to collect the rubbish, graffiti, potholes, closing public toilets, ULEZ, LTNs, VG3, OSR cycle lane, voting to build on greenfield sites, the i360 and general incompetence mixed with arrogance then ?

This is the very long weekend that keeps on giving
It truly is, it looks like the Greens have been ejected and at last we have a majority council.

Labour source: 'We've got majority'

Labour are now very confident of securing a majority in Brighton and Hove City Council.

A source in the party said: "We've got the majority, it just hasn't been announced it yet."

I'd like to say how disappointed I am that @Falmerfourtickets missed out again, but it would be a lie so I won't.
I’m popping opening the bubbly tonight after his behaviour recently.

The pound shop Boris Johnson is a loser again!

I hope he now ****s off somewhere else in the country to find a new constituency and even better, a new football team to support.
