Did West Ham try it? There was something along the same lines, but it led every time to us winning possession and attacking their goal. Zouma looked all at sea.

Yep, they did, albeit a poor imitation. We appear to have set a high bar in this respect - long may it continue. The commentary was particularly full of praise for the way we play.
About time too, iho.

Regarding their dive for a pen and yellow card, did anyone here have a great view from that end of the ground?

Too far for us in the NS, so for a few seconds we were shit scared of a game changing West Ham goal.

The ref was emphatic and (a telltale sign) the Hammers players did not harangue the officials for long.

Pervis (I think it was) stops running and Bowen throws himself down waiting for contact which never comes. BUT he got straight back up and didn’t appeal for the penalty. Maybe a touch harsh but he was trying to “buy” contact and looked a bit of a tool in doing so. He was absolutely shit all game.

How nice would it have been if Encisos shot had curled in to the top corner. There were reports of him being upset after Tuesday nights performance and he would definitely have felt a lot better and part of the team if that effort had gone in.
