I agree. It felt flat first half I think simply because West ham were so incredibly bad that it wasn't a contest, but we didnt capitalise. We were very, very good though despite only scoring front a pen. Second half ran away with it - another level.Controversially it seems tonight on nsc, I enjoyed the first half and it flew by. We were by far the better team, our sole weakness Estupinan/Mitoma both gifting Bowen space to attack, with a key Webster blunder too. We bossed them, Ferguson was outstanding.
Now portrayed on here as “boring” and how bad were we. In the actual stadium, it was fine.
And the 3rd goal was utterly filthy! That second goal is absolutely pathetic!
I’d be absolutely livid with that if it was us. Park football defending. A howler like Sanchez’s is a freak mistake from a talented professional. That was just absolutely incompetent. That second goal is absolutely pathetic!
Goal number two from ESU…Note Veltman’s movement as the corner is to be taken…where’s the marking
We scored (deservedly) and were in control of the game. Glad you didn't want 'more', as that would be silly.
I forgot to mention very boring.Too late, but thanks for the advice.
We just don’t tuck those away historically. Either the wrong side of the post or 5mm offside.Always takes a while to digest properly...third goal was an absolute beauty. Easy to take goals of that quality for granted now.
I forgot to mention very boring
No need to mention it again, then, eh?I forgot to mention very boring.
Yeh mate. It's a message to the team. Nobody is safe. Keep your standards up. Not just the Palace howler, but generally Robbie has dipped a little, steele performed and rightly kept his place.
Ball now im sanchez court
Mine are still a little jittery, but we seem so skilful (nowadays) that we make it look deceptively easy.My nerves have now become accustomed to us suddenly stopping and putting our foot on the ball in our own 18 yard box.
Did West Ham try it? There was something along the same lines, but it led every time to us winning possession and attacking their goal. Zouma looked all at sea.Mine are still a little jittery, but we seem so skilful (nowadays) that we make it look deceptively easy.
