I am regularly reminded on the political threads that a beige reliable man is much better than a charismatic wayward one

Does this not apply in football?
I'm not judging how good they are at the job, just agreeing that it appears the FH hasn't appeared to enthuse the fans that much.

I appreciate this might be a niche opinion shared by none but WHAT A SHIT TIME THIS IS TO START A FOOTBALL MATCH

Feeling pretty positive this morning, nope that’s a lie….

I woke up this morning and thought I’d been transported up north, Its dreary and cold….

I don’t like it, is it too early for gloves and a snood ?
I'm on the precipice of gloving up - It was 3c when walking the dog at 5.45 this morning!

Anyway - I'm watching today's match with a Spurs supporting mate - Really hope it's a miserable couple of hours for him - and not me!

I've a funny old feeling Webster will score the winner today, football has a habit of making a 40-1 chance odds on.
Well it’d have to be a 40 yard screamer, cos our centre backs aren’t allowed to get on the end of corners.

Just getting dressed, 1st game this season with no shorts. What we expecting, a bit of drizzle

The most curious thing..
This afternoon we will be mostly defending Spur's penalty spot.
