Is Big Gully around tonight to tell us that we should stop putting foreigners in the youth academy as it hurts the chances of young players from Henfield? :lolol:

Seriously, though, positive to see the tedious and effective five at the back system binned off.
Spurs were as Kinky informed us but you can only beat what's put in front of you.

Bit of daylight to the bottom three for now.

Houghton would not of had the courage to play a side with young inexperienced players , when i saw the teamsheet i was suprised but what do i know , brilliant performance ..
Connolly is the messiah ...I should know ive seen a few....
Irrelevant. Houghton never managed us.

Don't believe Potter has relinquished belief in playing 3 central defenders. Having March and Bernardo injured, coupled with his reluctance to start Bong are more probable reasons as to why he's resorted to a straight back four.

As for the lame attempt you made at praising the 3-0 demolition of last years Champions League finalists, the less said the better.

What a game, just superb and what an excellent 3rd goal. The big guns will be putting in hard to refuse bids for Connolly I expect. I watched on Optus in the pub sports bar. Lots if Aussies were there to watch Ryan and Mooy, everyone there was impressed with the Brighton performance. I just woke up and have to go to work soon. Will read this match thread on my return.

Come on - Connolly has played a handful of games - he is going to have to prove he can do it on a consistent basis before anyone will show interest. I want to see him become a top striker - Ireland could use one - but this is getting blown out of all proportion.

What with one thing and another, it's been a fun old 12 months since.

Which is not nice.
