Oh why oh why did we let Locadia and Andone go, after the transfer deadline with no chance of getting anyone in to replace our only proper strikers (apart from the OAP Murray). Just relying on an untried Championship player and a kid from the youth team who had hardly even had a spell out on loan - utter madness, shocking mismanagement, Potter out, Ashworth out, Bloom out.

Well done lad, you just made a bloke with nearly 100 caps for Belgium look like is a complete MUG.

Marvellous scenes

I love that wikipedia sees the future ....

"On August 27th 2019, Connolly scored his first senior goal in a 2–1 away win over Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup.[7] He made his league debut for Brighton four days later, coming on as a substitute for Neal Maupay in the 66th minute of a 4–0 defeat away to Manchester City.[8] Connolly made another appearance from the bench in The Seagulls next fixture, a 1–1 home draw against Burnley on 14 September.[9] On October 5th, Connolly would score his first and second career league goals for Brighton, in a win over Tottenham Hotspur."
