Sanchez played well in the one game he startedd in; looked commanding and much more of a presence being much taller. Got to question why he was dropped again

Gross is utterly wasted at 10. He either plays deeper or not at all. He doesn't have the pace for it.
Connolly only really excels in games that are open ATM, still has so much to learn.
Some players have been really excellent. Biss is clearly one of the best players in the league.

Not sure that was Ryan. Cant let a player have that sort of run without a challenge from an out swinging corner. Defending not good enough. We should have been able to see that out. Will do their confidence the world of good especially as they had been poor up TIL then. So disappointing.
Inhale will be on second half and I can see us having problems.

We're shit at defending set pieces because we're shit at taking them so don't practice against a well organised and drilled team until it's during a game.

True. Clueless at both ends from set plays. If only you could bring on a new team for defensive plays like in the NFL. Duffy might have stayed and we could send him, BDB and Sanchez on to defend corners.

Ryan had no chance on that header, poor marking though. Dunk & Webster should have scored for us. Biss & March & Welbeck playing well. Young Connolly not having a great game.Bring Maupay on please G Potts

Potter's an awesome manager, best ever potentially, but he has definitely not been the king of masterminding defending OR attacking set pieces, so far.

It is our outstanding weakness.

If we could defend/attack set pieces, then we would be top 10 easily, this season.

Innit?
It's so strange- just a get a decent defence coach in, right?

We treat attacking set pieces as if scoring would be a bonus rather than a genuine opportunity. Webster and Dunk had really good chances there are they lack so much composure.
