I am looking forward to it for several reasons

1. Gives some of the fringe players a run out in front of the TV cameras
2. If we take it seriously it's a bit of silverware we realistically might win
3. I purchased a month of Sky sports and want my monies worth

But a question does winning this cup give entry to one of the European cup comes next year as if it does that will be worth far more than gate receipts were not getting this year

It gives entry to a new competition - Europa Conference League or something like that. Europa League itself is shrinking to 32 teams instead of 48. Winners of the new Conference League then get automatic entry into 2021/22 Europa league
