Bought their own luck maybe? ???

Welcome to the Premier League. That's how she goes.

I’m not too bothered about the result as I expected us to lose.
What’s more concerning are the injuries to White, Lallana and Maupay, plus our obvious need for another striker. I think we hold our own in all other areas of the pitch.

I feel more the opposite (call me glass half-empty). Dunk and Lamptey are our best players, without them both, I feel we would really, really struggle to survive - not counting Lallana and White at this stage.

Seriously what are people moaning about? If we play like this all season we will easily finish mid table. Some people need to really get a grip.

If we miss our best opportunities, need 10 shots to get a goal, gift opposition the ball on the edge of the area and concede penalties, and clumsy own goals gifting oppositions wins all season we'll finish mid-table?

Last 3 things Ali J has done have been pretty shit. Hospital pass to Lamptey, kicks the ball out, boots the ball against defender when in a great crossing position. Needs another season under his belt perhaps. Give up people. Liked Gross in that deeper role.

If we play like this all year, we’ll do fine.

We’re playing Chelsea and they’re a bloody good side. We’ve not let the side down.

I think you glass maybe empty!
I thought we’ve played better than we did last season. I’m in the quietly confident we’ll do better than last season.

Well, we improved last season, and I think we've improved again this season. Obviously not enough for some people.

We got a point in this fixture last season.

A great performance by the Albion who have run themselves into the ground against a team that finished fourth last season and have spent big this season the result totaly flatters Chelsea with two gifted goals, I am more concerned with the two injuries than the result
