Fair enough.
I just think in the same way celebrate a good performance, it's fine to feel frustrated after a match, particularly where the level of performance was so bad.
It's only human, long work weeks, looking forward to the footy, forking out lots of cash, and seeing such a lame performance. We all want the team to do well and come away happy, but it's OK to tell it how it is.
I've defended the like of Weiffer multiple times in here, where critism is uncalled for, but today was shocking. If you can't break a team down, at least have a pop from outside the box, make the keeper work.
I'm a bit old school, can't stand the theatrics we see in modern footy, perhaps that's half my issue. The enjoyment just wasn't there for me unfortunately, not helped be zero goal threat by what are highly paid top players .

I don't have a problem with any of that, but some of the venom and bile spewing out, towards our own players, particularly in the moment in the ground...

It's not healthy.

Why are we so utterly useless at home this season? Even the games we’ve won haven’t been great! Man U: scraped a win in muddled chaotic game. Spurs: only turned up the second half. Man City: same again, only one good half! How many games this season home or away have we played well start to finish? We play well in patches and if we don’t score in our good patch we’re cooked!

What was that all about…..I could see Minteh being pushed away by our staff and there was some arse from Everton, who I couldn’t make out if he was a sub or back room staff who seemed to have a lot to say for himself…but not sure if it started with them two

Probably Moyse. He has history 🙂

So predictable. We moved the ball far too slowly as we always do against these negative low block teams. They would have never scored though if it wasn’t for that freak penalty decision which wasn’t even from a meaningful attack so to lose that match is very frustrating.
Why was it a freak pen decision? Veltman hand balled it and had it not been a pen, it would have been a case of him getting away with it.

We have a lot of posts about Velt’s shithousery, but today it bit him on the arse.

Is van Hecke instructed not to shoot ? He gets in some good positions striding forward but as he gets withing shooting distance he always shovels it out wide, If he tried a shot it may fly in or take a deflection. Mind you no-one else tries to shoot either.

why did we constantly use the wing for Mitoma who they doube'd up on him and Mitoma went inside more than outside? The we finally sub Lamptey off and rarely used the right wing to attack Everton. I didn't get it. Im a great fan of Welbeck one of the greatest players the club has EVER had but today he was average at best. No idea why he didnt come off.

I meant freak as in the penalty came from a long aimless ball rather than a dangerous Everton attack.
Oh okay, sorry that makes more sense, although I think they had us under pressure in that period - they got Ndoaye on him as much as possible, it barely went down their right. Think it was a mistake after a build up of pressure tbh.

To reiterate, the shite ref didn't give a pen, he gave a corner, until VAR stepped in ?

Not happy, and disappointed like all of us tonight but there are more important things in life.

I really think some people need to get a grip and try living in the real world.

It's only a GAME FFS! - Yes, it's a game we're all passionate about as we wouldn't follow our clubs otherwise, but win lose or draw it's hardly the end of the world. Those that go on here moaning about how it ruined their weekend need to give their heads a wobble. No one likes losing but it is part of sport even if it is after a poorer than expected performance today. No point losing any sleep over it.

If you can't support a team and accept that sometimes we will lose, sometimes we will win, sometimes we'll be shit, sometimes we'll be robbed by VAR - then maybe following football isn't the sport for you. It's about time some on here pulled up their big boy pants.

Come tomorrow I'll move on and look forward to the next match.
