So short of quality on the left.

It really ain't that bad. Benitez is a wily old ******* who has done a number on us today. If we get Cucu in and get Lamptey fit, 15th at worst. If we get Nuñez as well, top half won't be far off. Disappointing defeat, but not anything major.

If that’s broadly our team and tactics against counter attacking teams this season, we’re going to get picked off with ease.

You could predict our next pass 90% of the time. Duffy to Dunk etc. The opposition did that too.

Would love to know how Rafa achieved the following:

An isolated Veltman receives the ball and is immediately surrounded by two or three opponents.
Ditto - Gross, Moder.

Other than marking Bissouma, it’s as if Rafa ceded CM, knowing we lack pace and creativity there, overloading our flanks.
