Bet you're a bundle of laughs to live with. FFS, we BATTERED the scum today 4-1 and that's your summary?

No pleasing some.

Delighted with the result of course, but it's always important to keep grounded and see the bigger picture.

Similarly, I'm not the type to get irate when we don't get good results, but when the football was of similar quality to today, unlike how many on here do.

Well that was fun! Good to have a bit not pace on the flanks. Been missing that dimension massively.

My daughters first league match today. Her previous games were the 5-0 friendly vs Espanyol and the Grimsby 5-1. In 3 matches she's seen 14 Brighton goals.

Typically this was the only game where she sat trying to decipher the words to 30,000 people singing 'You're fùcking shìt, you're fùcking shìt, you're fùckigng shìt'

'What are they saying?'

'Just a bit of constructive feedback around their sub-optimal performance darling.'

I saw a load leave at 3-0, nearer to ESL. It wasn’t for an early HT drink, the seats never filled again.
Yeah definitely less palace at the start of the second half. Embarrassing really leaving early in a derby match.

The running order of MOTD is going to be very interesting this evening.

Currently 26 goals so far in 5 games with 40 minutes of the Sheffield United v Villa game to go.

With the Newcastle v Luton 8 goal thriller and two 90+ minute equalisers, we might well end up being 4th or even last on!

Too many Palace game threads to keep up with them all today, understandably. So I'm just going to say that the sun is (was) in the sky, the lark on the wing, the hat on the side of one's head, and today everything is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Yes I'm already out getting drunk in celebration. I was there for the 5-0 and thinking of that today as we went 3-0 up. What an undiluted joy. Enjoy this, all.

I couldn't believe how many of the "best supporters in the league" seemed to get lost at half time and never found their way back to their seats. Perhaps our signage needs work?

Crap club, crap fans. Embarrassing on and off the pitch.

There's virtually nothing to actually dislike about Hodgson. Except that he manages Palace.
In fairness to him, this is his last year as a manager. He's had a life through football which most of us would be envious of. He turned up today wanting to beat us, didn't and takes it on the chin with those comments and has no complaints and leaves as pissed off as anyone else with Palace connections would. There's worse people in the world than Roy.

Just listening to TS whilst waiting to escape the Bridge car park ..Palace fan who travelled from the Midlands left after 30 mins 😂
I've just worked it out. 2010 seconds is 33.5 minutes. All those who left at that time were doing so in protest at CPFC2010 laying claim to the club that existed before that time

Our passages of play are ALWAYS top drawer (maybe ignoring Luton).

It's breaking down the opposition in the final third where we struggle. It took two incredible assists, and two headers, to get the goals today - but if it wasn't for the scoreline, you wouldn't be saying that this was a top performance.

We've played better in some games where we haven't got the result. I can understand why it's difficult to look past the scoreline when assessing a performance though.

This was a 6/10 performance, but a 9/10 result. 4 moments of brilliance from individuals got the result today, rather than an outstanding team effort.
