First team needs freshening up with Mac, Lamptey and Alzate being brought into the line up. Get some youth and energy and we might survive. Continue as we are and we are down for sure

Just need to have the confidence - to get closer towards the goal - and ability, to just put the ball into the net. Surely we've got to get it right one day this year and win - but will that be enough?

Still feels like players and management are not on the same page. Every week we are playing differently and new weaknesses show. It's a shame we didn't get a new striker in January but we might be able to stay up if the players get togther and really knuckle down on making sure they know the plan and can execute.

The crowd reaction to Mooy being awarded MOTM today was entirely understandable BTW

This is a bad loss - compounded by the other results. While other results have gone Brighton's way the last couple of weeks - it doesn't look like so today. If Watford manage to pull of a draw this evening - and it could happen - then there is only one win between four teams. Hopefully Chelsea do the job in the last 15 mins and keep Bournemouth in the mix

No win in 8 now - and a very tough game next weekend and a tough few games coming up. You can have all the possession in the world but if you don't score then it comes to naught.

The big danger now is that Bournemouth put a couple of results together then a gap opens up and Brighton are battling with Villa, West Ham, Watford and Norwich.

There is one reason for optimism - 24 shots on goal - just have to get a couple to go in.

Kind of numb to the Hammers and B’muff leads because it only matters if we are capable of winning a few games and we haven’t looked like doing so for a long while now

Yes, I just saw those scores, and as you say, we've got to start doing it for ourselves. Trouble is, I just can't see us getting the frigging goals!:annoyed:

We haven't actually led in a game since Jack Grealish equalised for Villa on 18th January. Not a single time since then have we been ahead in a game.

If McAllister isn't ready for (at least) the bench in one of our last winnable home games. .. Why the **** did we pay to cancel his loan agreement?

The new Man Utd player Fernandez went straight in the team ,he didn`t need to settle in even though he cost more money .When i saw the line up i thought there was not enough goal scoring players on the pitch .General lack of Power and Pace makes us easy to defend against as well. With the slow midfield when we lose the ball we are exposed .We are not gone yet but GP has nothing to lose now with the new additions they need to be tested .

up the downs
Should be in instead of Mooy who is off-form.

Should have been Alzete instead of Mooy today. Worst game I've seen Arron play so far. And to get MOTM today what a joke. Bissoma had a much better game than him today and Propper played like a LEGEND.

Nobody else seemed that bothered.

Well that’s your opinion fair enough but trossard March a 37 year old striker and Connolly who don’t even get on anymore they’re not either

I quite agree that 'Trossard March and a 37 (36 actually) year old striker' aren't any better than Trossard, March (who aren't strikers anyway) and Murray.

If he spends half a season with us without playing, or not playing much, his sale value as a Brighton reject will be a hell of a lot less than if he finishes the season as a star player for one of the top teams in South America!

I don't disagree at all, I was merely trying to find some logic behind bringing him over at a cost and then not playing him.

Haven’t read the whole thread - too depressing.

Would just like to say we were abysmal and don’t deserve to stay up with performances like that.

Saw the passion of Norwich last night and Watford now. I just don’t see performances like that coming from us....

This. Half our players just don't look like they give a shit. The others look terrified of their own shadow.
