I thought that chelsea (no surprise really) didn't do themselves any PR favours when Veltman accidentally touched one of their players and the guy cried so Veltman put the ball out of play. You would have expected chelsea to give the ball back to us but no they didn't. They kept on attacking. No class.

Been discussed already but it was Cucurella who took the throw and didn’t give it back, which riled up the crowd and got the players going again when we were having a bit of a lull. No love lost between Veltman and Cucurella. Or Albion fans and Cucurella. Or the rest of the Brighton squad and Cucurella. Or at full time Chelsea fans and Cucurella.

Noticeable that of the two players (that you could clearly see…re my video post match) who did not interact with any Brighton player post match the ‘hairy one’ was one of them

Due to traffic we barely got to our seats before kick off, so missed the warm reception 🙄 but clearly Sideshow not only left us with a sour taste, but everyone within the club too.

he's only human, like we all are, but he made his bed. . . .better off in Spain with his ilk IMO. 🙄

Missed the game last night but have just watched the first half this morning. Wow, that’s some team performance!

- Bart: he needed that assist to Mitoma, confidense wise. Brilliant.
- Mitoma: well, speaking of him, what a touch! Insane!
- Webster: fell on his arse after 4 mins when Palmer turned him inside out, after that a rock together with van Hecke.
- Veltman: two hands on his back and you get a free kick against you. Thank you, that was important.
- Hinch: looks like he’s played in the Premier League ten years or so!
- Baleba: increadible as usual.
- Minteh: starting to understand why the club bought him, getting better and better.
- The Team: no frictions there, everyone celebrating those goals like mad. Even Pedro came out to hug Minteh.
- Hurz: he’s so cool, sat there watching 2-0, hardly moved just a quiet Yeees! Iceman! I trust the process!

Missed some players but I have to watch second half now!
I noticed Joao’s reaction too. Well done him.

Another fun watch here - a self-appointed 'expert' seemingly doing some attempt at management consultancy while contradicting himself and ranting at the same time. Goes on a lot, and isn't worth five minutes of your time, but a couple of minutes is good to have a chuckle at!

Rally together to 'save our club' ?

A bad few weeks, and they need to save their club.

:ROFLMAO:

Apart from calling a foul to stop their goal, he was generally big 6 biased. Like when Baleba fairly won the ball off Gusto, but the ref gave a free kick after Gusto rolled about for a bit.
Yep

plenty of occasions where the ref indicated a chelsea player had "got the ball" becaus eof teh direction the ball went after a foul, and when the same happened for us, he blew up for the foul.

Pretty standard PL refereeing though tbf. Big 6 always edge the 50/50 decisions.
Which is why their fans go so mad when one goes against them.

Another fascinating analysis from Zekko - with many of the same conclusions he made after the cup game. Chelsea did not learn their lesson. Also, some lovely analysis of our three goals.

It does make me realise why we do so well against sides that attack us (high back line in Chelsea's case) and gives clues as to why we struggle against low-block sides.

Lastly, there are some lovely still of our second and third goals, both showing how the Cuckoo got left on his arse. Nice.

Very early on, one of the Chelsea players sped past one of our midfielders (in front of the East stand). Was in Hinsh?

I was very worried at that point. And it turned out to be pretty much their one and only "win" of the day.

It was - he was waving franticly that he wasn't going to catch him
