For those currently hyperventilating about one mid-table PL team (ours) drawing 0-0 with another mid-table PL team (theirs) we appear to have absolutely battered them first-half, albeit a tight offside decision went in our favour. Flekken was immense until injured.

2nd half we didn’t seem as dominant, but we still had opportunities, and we sucked up endlessly frustrating performances like this under the management of a certain G. Potter, for about 18 months if I recall before he found a way.

I think the young German fella is a quicker learner than the dour Brummie, and more proactive.

We’ll find our way, and I think we’ve got a stronger squad than Potter had at his disposal, albeit our central midfield isn’t fully baked yet and reinforcements at CB would be welcomed. It’s not the result we wanted, but I don’t see how you can watch that first half and not think that goals will come. They will.
Really? You think our young German could totally change the way we played under CH quicker than GP did? He’s struggling to adapt to PL football with a much better squad than GP ever had imo

Just glad my tickets sold on the exchange.

Having to leave on 87 minutes to 'tuts and huffs' to get a 76 year old down to the train station so as not to stand in the cold for an hour or more on a winters night was a good decision.

Good first half, poor second. Frustrating result AGAIN. Gave me flashabcks to Potter. Luckily we had a good start to the season which is soaking up this absolute dire form. Just got to hope Fab has what it takes to get this team back firing again. He certainly does not have a bottom half squad but needs time. Two tough games coming up.

P.s. players waving their arms at the crowd does my nut, even more so when they are wasting opportunities left, right and centre. You just worry about what you're doing sunshine. The crowd will follow.

And RDZ is a better manger than Potter
I’d have certainly been interested to see what RDZ would have made with these playing resources

First half we played really well, missed some simple chances. Second half we ran out of steam after 60 minutes, last 30 minutes we were really poor. Quite worrying to see we ran out of ideas and it looked like the players stopped believing we were going to win and were reluctant to shoot when the opportunity presented itself in and around the edge of the box. Quite dispiriting watching that really, we look like a spent force already. I’m just glad we’ve accumulated 26 points already. It feels like the second half of last season again.

But when the opposition players haven't shown any sign whatsoever of being sucked in by this after 70+ minutes, you think he'd stop doing it?
But there were multiple occasions where it worked and we either 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 on halfway line and we did not play the ball forward over the top. The problem is we just can't play the ball forward quickly and so that negates adingra, minteh and mitomas key strength.

Fabian Hurzeler:

"It's tough again that we didn't finish the game as a winner. We have to learn how to create chances and finish them. We didn't create enough chances in the second half. There were positives and we have to stay positive."

"Sometimes football is not fair and I think we deserved more today. I'm glad the players could have a big impact and I'm happy with how the squad played. We have a big squad and everyone has to compete for a place."

"It's not easy to win a Premier League game so we have to keep working."
Getting sick of these cliches FH comes out with!
It seems he can't work out where out next win is coming from!

RDZ got found out, Potter, as BHA manager, didn’t, so I disagree. Great that we all see things differently though

Both ended up as ****s at the stepping stone that is BHA though
Football we played under RDZ was the most scintillating football that any Brighton team have played
Potter only came good at the end of almost 3 years

You seem to have forgotten the’1 home win’ in a calendar year phase of Potters Albion career.
