Very good 1st half and well deserved 2 goals and 2nd half a bit pushed back but overall a good performance. Hopefully the monkey is off our back and it's upwards and onwards for the rest of the season.:albion2:

Typical Albion. Why can't we ever push on. How good would it have been to have killed that off with a third goal on 70 mins. One can only assume Potter was his usual inspiring half time self.

Stop trolling, eh?

You're too old to be a perpetual prat

Anyone care to give a report on the state of the bridge car park? Just having a post match drink and wondered how bad it was.

Huge performances from Sanchez, Burn and Cucurella tonight who prevented Brentford getting a sniff of getting back in the game. The first two have come in for stick at times but tonight they answered their critics well.

"Brighton do deserve this - they have been by far and away the better side. They know how to hunt in packs, they have a really good coach who plays good, progressive, watchable football.

If a Manchester City, Liverpool or Chelsea player had scored those two goals you would be saying they were world class goals. But it's not just about the goals it's the way they play with the ball, the little intricate passes or they can go a bit longer. Positionally with and without the ball they are a very well structured side."

- Scott Minto, BBC Radio 5 Live

I believe that's called 'ticky-tacky' football, and it's the work of the devil.

Have I been misinformed?

Glad to see Welbeck back as well. Cotton wool protection maybe an idea to keep him fit for longer spells.
