No chance for me to watch this in any form. Was the draw deserved?

Once we equalised Betfair throughout made the odds of an Arse win far more likely eg 6.2 to 10.0. Was there a real match reason for this, they were taking us apart, or markets were swamped with plastic gooners?
Yes, it was deserved.

"I think we did quite well. We shouldn’t have conceded the first goal. That shouldn’t happen to us, but you can see a lot of character in the boys. We need to be more consistent."

“We have a really young team. The average age of our team is 23. It’s tough sometimes, but our guys fight for everything. Maybe you need a bit more experience to manage the game."

“In some parts we are really good. Consistency is an important thing for us to get back where we need to be.”

(On Arsenal’s opener)

“[Ethan Nwaneri] was totally free on the right, so he was able to come inside. We should have done better as a team.”

Not to be overly negative but I’m not seeing what other people did second half. Their keeper barely had a save to make. We fought well and given their quality it’s an excellent point but we were so toothless. One cross shot from Minteh is all I can think of. I still see it as a point gained but something isn’t clicking.
It will come.

We were the only team that looked like winning the 2nd half.

Against Arsenal.

Cheer up pal!

Fabulous performance! Especially as so many youngsters playing.

Beleba brilliant again. Ayari was great! Once Minteh has a season under his legs he's going to be exceptional for us.

I'll take the draw, but I think we were the better team over the whole game. Which against Arsenal is incredible!

Anyone still with their doom glasses on need to step back and look at that performance.

And with each game we start to gel more and more, the new players get more game time etc.

AND we're missing our two big strikers - Wellbeck and Ferguson. Find me another team that can play like that without their target men. Nottingham forest without Chris Wood?!

Annoying not to get the 2nd goal but they will come. Can't wait to get Welbz back we're going to fly.

Buzzing!
Great post, really important not to forget the youth of this team! Superb second half and gives me great optimism for the rest of the season

Maybe we do. An old head this window would make a lot of sense.
These young players are being asked to learn very quickly and not this summer, or next season, but now.
If we can find a face that fits, another senior pro around the first team would be hugely positive for the second half of the season.

“We started the game well. We could have won but got a point. We need to look forward."

“We conceded in the first half but knew we could win this game. We tried to score at the beginning of the second half. We wanted to win.”

On the penalty

“I tried to control the ball and then [Saliba] hit me. It’s good that I scored. I always try to be positive with goals and assists. I like the feeling [of scoring] and hopefully I’ll score more.”

And this is why we should be doing much better than we are TB has built a top 6 squad which is underperforming. Why are we not starting our best options toothless first half it doesn’t make sense. We could have won if we had.

We improved second half and we all knew that it was really going to be another draw. We must be the draw specialists. Where is the next win coming from? MOM Van H

So, was Tactical Tommy sitting with PBOBE on the off chance he'd get to assess the inimitable Adam “Webbo” Webster? (I am assuming the nickname based on every dressing room conversation ever)
