Arsenal tube station, which I will be using later, is the only tube station named after a football club.

Normally I am up for a game vs the Big Six and expect us to step it up for a big game, however not feeling it with our recent run and how well Arse are doing.

I think we'll struggle. Heart thinks we'll win, head says no ferking chance.
That’s enough about what Hearts and Travis Head thinks, what do you think the score will be?

Yer shows how far our expectations are out of reality when we would be disappointed with a draw Vs 2nd best team in the country.
I think people are understandably frustrated with a bad run combined with a great start perhaps getting hopes up a bit too high. I’m always hopeful, never expectant.

If we turn up with fire in our bellies we have the quality to give them a game, no question in my mind. So there is always hope.

We hadn’t conceded from a corner this season until Fulham away.
True but before and since then we’ve looked quite shaky, without conceding as many as we quite possibly could’ve, including a couple of late ones which would’ve been winning goals (Everton and Aston Villa).

Arsenal swarm the near post and sandwich the keeper, and that’s the exact area we’ve looked most vulnerable. I hope we’ve had a good look at this in training, because it’s an obvious area of concern this evening.

The day that @Tom Hark Preston Park fails to let us know he has a feeling about the day's game, @Beach Hut decides that he is no longer so excited, and @jcdenton08 stops updating us with his his travel details and the shockingly low turnout, will be a sad day for me.

It's matchday, kids. Come on football, give us a goal!

To be honest, this is the first time this season, for a home match, that I would be delighted if we park the bus and scrape a draw.

Because I am not expecting a win, the excitement level is up and the fear element is down.

I just hope my shitty knee can get me up the west upper stairs.

This "joke" type post, pretending to be at the wrong ground, in every single match day thread, is getting so boring. You should know better than this by now.

It's called The Emirates.

On a side note, can people stop doing that thing where if more than one person posts it then loads of people do? It's not funny, it just makes you seem like you should be in care ???

I agree!

And so does my mate, who has joined me for the long trip to Highbury this lunchtime.

I understand the Ambre Solaire are sponsoring this match. They will be giving out small sample tubes for all in the Lower East and South plus girls will be walking pitchside to help keep noses covered from the sun. Every seat in these stands will have a sun visor. The FA have called for two mid game water breaks and the club have promised to turn the pitch watering system on to the crowd to cool everybody down.
Weather eh? Never what the forcasters say.

It's got draw written all over it, hasn't it?

We keep our winless run going.

They keep their undefeated run going.

We keep our "first game of the new year" run going.

Everyone goes home unhappy.

I'm going for a point gained today.
