- Brighton haven't lost their first league game in any of the last eight calendar years (W3, D5)
Everything except the last bit, I’d be delighted with a draw. They’re much, much better than usIt's got draw written all over it, hasn't it?
We keep our winless run going.
They keep their undefeated run going.
We keep our "first game of the new year" run going.
Everyone goes home unhappy.
But that stat includes our poor form under Roberto upto May too!I hadn’t seen this stat before- shows how far we’ve dropped off since selling our best midfielders and RDZ throwing his toys out the pram 12 months ago:
- Hürzeler's side have scored just 21 goals at the Amex Stadium in the Premier League in 2024; 25 fewer than in 2023.
3-2Gonna be a cricket score...
This "joke" type post, pretending to be at the wrong ground, in every single match day thread, is getting so boring. You should know better than this by now.Off to Highbury at 1pm; should arrive there by 3.30. Which pub?
Howzat?Gonna be a cricket score...
I'd like to see the stats on this because I thought our set piece defending wasn't that bad.My normal optimism is dimmed for this one, if only for the fact that we defend so badly at corners let alone against a team that seems to have perfected the art of scoring from them. We may summon up the spirit to give Arsenal a game in open play but set pieces alone should enable Arsenal to see out a comfortable win.
I don’t have stats handy, but in my opinion we’ve looked much dodgier without Welbeck defending the front post.I'd like to see the stats on this because I thought our set piece defending wasn't that bad.
Since we had Biss defending the front post!!I don’t have stats handy, but in my opinion we’ve looked much dodgier without Welbeck defending the front post.
