By no means are we out of this, despite the score (and yes, I do think it was a penalty and we'd be screaming if it was up the other end). That said, the Arse do look good....but so do we.
Some of our build-up play has been sublime, but as is too often the case, it's the final part that lacks.
If (yes, I know!) we don't concede an early second goal, I think we're in with a shout. Tbh, the Arse are no great shakes and we are very capable of winning this, or at least getting a point.

Can’t believe anyone seriously thinks that isn’t a penalty. We’d be going absolutely mad if it wasn’t given for us. It’s stonewall.

The ‘got the ball’ argument is ridiculous. If you kick the ball away cleanly and then smash the attacker in the face with a brick, it’s still a penalty.
Where was Lamptey meant to go he’s won the ball why foul the man on purpose? as others have said no different to the Olver call at Villa v March.

Big team biased ref (not disputing the penalty but every 50/50 to Arsenal) and a commentary/pundit team that includes Alan Smith, Karen Carney and Theo Walcott, all ex Arsenal. Sky going all in on Arsenal

Come on Albion let’s f*** it up for them
The BBC on-line commentary thing is shockingly biased. The BBC pundit, Danny Gabbidon, is so far up Arsenal's arse he can see daylight between their teeth! And all the 'comments' are from Arsenal twunts, the sort that are generally not intelligent enough to be on the Arsenal fans forum!
Talksport, on the other hand, were outraged that the penalty was given - baffled that the ref wasn't called over to have a look, because in slow motion it was clearly not a pen.
