Jesus was already mid dive when Lamptey touched the ball. Not a penalty, and not a chance we would have got that.

So by that logic every single slide tackle ever is a foul? If you slide tackle and win the ball, you usually win it and then make some contact with the man after. So is every time this happens a foul then?

To be honest, before VAR that would have been given a penalty every time. It was difficult to see the slight touch he got a bit of the ball without slow motion.

The reffing has been terrible but we can't get through their press well enough and when we do we're not creating chances

We are creating chances ( Enciso’s attempt a case in hand) we are mostly just squandering them with poorly timed crosses, a couple of poor finishes from Danny and bad decisions by Adingra mostly.
