I have to say - in fairness to B'muff, you were scarily good up front and I think a draw wouldn't havePlenty of kids like that at Bournemouth Grammar school when I was there in the 80’s LOL
Anyway, enjoy your win, things not quite clicking at the moment for us but can’t complain.
Don't worry, I won't.Make sure you never let us forget it either![]()
Not quite clicking ? Are you saying it gets better ? You can put a stop to that.Plenty of kids like that at Bournemouth Grammar school when I was there in the 80’s LOL

To be fair, it is a London paper…From what I can see next to no mention of this on the back pages of any of the main newspapers..instead pictures of the lamest goal celebration in football (nkunku if in any doubt) and column inches given to Chelsea only putting 4 past Soton. Standard.
i new weird winVery wrong, Dear Friend, very wrong
Were won(dered)
150? arrests or crowd ejections. I thought it was 1969. I was in the northern Chicken Run at the time - by 1971 I had migrated to the North Stand....That’s the one! Boxing Day +1. As it was played on the Bank Holiday Monday ‘cos Sunday games then were a strict no-no. 30,000 and more in the ground, Kit Napier doing his stuff, a comfortable 2-0 win and Super Mac Ted MacDougall in the mud. Great day!![]()
Obviously biased - great place to grow up i'd say - possibly not so great after if you can't find a decent job etc.. not a great wages/house price ratio (Leighton Buzzard where I am now is the polar opposite, although house prices have risen in the last 5 years)Having lived there for a few years, there's a bit of that. They're kind of like a poorer version of Essex boys and girls. Blonde, not a lot going on upstairs, quite right wing and blingy. Champagne tastes, lemonade money and very insular to their own area.
Still a great beach and superb night out when I lived there especially in the summer.
Yep bit of work needed in the finishing department. No major dramas.I have to say - in fairness to B'muff, you were scarily good up front and I think a draw wouldn't have
been an unfair result.
Cheers, yeah there's always been a bit of banter between us, but had a great chat with some Brighton fans on train the first match of the season and we generally get on alright - stories from mates on England away matches too. Although there's been a few momentsNot quite clicking ? Are you saying it gets better ? You can put a stop to that.
I like seeing 'teams like' Bournemouth pissing off the plastics. Long may it continue. Not at our expense though.
As regards the Bournemouth swipes, ignore them. It's only the odd person here and there. Folk forget how dirty Brighton can be and it has a share of problems to.. I've always liked Bournemouth. Especially The Bourne. It was shame that the Triangle and Commercial Road wasn't given much futuristic thought though. I wonder if that is now struggling a bit like other town centres. It would be a shame if so as it has a lot going for it.
The Bournemouth fans got into the ground very early and "took" the North Stand. That’s the one! Boxing Day +1. As it was played on the Bank Holiday Monday ‘cos Sunday games then were a strict no-no. 30,000 and more in the ground, Kit Napier doing his stuff, a comfortable 2-0 win and Super Mac Ted MacDougall in the mud.
