If BHA FC never existed and Hove had its own league team as did Brighton. Do you think it would be a friendly rivalry similar to Liverpool and Everton? Or do you think it would be a hostile one worse than man utd and man city ?

Also who would you support ?

Small town in Hove, you're just a small town in Hove, small town in Hove, you're just a small town in Hove...

Meopham, Kent.
I'd have been a Hove fan, growing up in Portslade, as presumably it would have been Hove FC that had played at teh Goldstone RIP, while Brighton FC would have been kicking a football around the middle of the racecourse or in teh car park at the station.

What a thought, I would be a hove fan, although I reckon we would be in the lower regions of league 2. pretty much like a Burton, Oxford, Barnet type club.

Not being from Brighton or Hove both having lived in both I would support both teams as I assume they would not be at home on the same day thus able to enjoy footie every week without having to travel! If they ever played each other I would support each in turn deciding the first one by a simple coin toss. Love and Good Times to all.

Bit like Dundee and Dundee Utd

Absolutely not! They hate each other, my commis chef is a Dundee Utd fan and he hates Dundee more than he hates the old firm!

Really ? I thought they both got along, even their hooligan element are one of the same, calling themselves The Utility I believe.

i would have to be Brighton through and through, we would have been the working man's team, whilst Hove would have been the posh lot (prawn sandwich brigade).....

We would have also had a lovely stadia in the outskirts of Mouslecoomb or Coldean, or in the parish of Falmer!!!

Your right they do have a "combined" firm but I thinks it's called the Utility and from what I've heard they just go to any game to cause trouble I don't think they are fans like the tannadice trendies. I'm sure there are fans of both teams but from those I've met they dislike each other and even have unflattering songs for each other!

Sorry I was reading your post and thought it said Unity!!! doh............not to self new glasses and check posts before replying sorry again

Growing up in Saltdean/Rottingdean I'd have been a Brighton fan.
