Edit: it always surprises me that she doesn’t fall out…

Cost people thousands in vet bills. If you scratched a car and caused damage then you would be expected to be charged with criminal damage and pay the costs so hopefully this idiot will get a prison sentence.

I've shot dead more than 9 cats.

Saved the lives of thousands upon thousands of native animals in doing so.

Why stop there? I'm sure lots of children kill and damage wildlife because they don't know any better, knock off a few of them as well. Such a complete BS point

Full-grown humans are obviously and without any competition worst in this sense.

That said, I do understand that in Australia there is a slightly different need/justification for... cat management.

That made me laugh.

I think it's pretty obvious why a vermin species needs to be wiped out to protect the native fauna and flora.

Lots of children are killing wildlife are they? Do they kill close to the 1.5 billion native creatures like the ones I shoot?

Presumably that's cats as a whole rather than the ones you kill? In which case, I reckon human probably cause a bit more damage overall

Must say this whole case is bizarre in the extreme. What makes a grown man (in his 50's) kill cats for kicks? Surely this guy needs a serious mental health assessment, and fast.

They shoot poachers dead in Africa. We're all doing our bit.

Can't stop there, we need to start taking pot shots at:

Miners, lumberjacks, loggers, foresters, farmers, fishermen, divers (not the Zaha type) and every other human who regularly take actions that are damaging to native fauna and flora.

I get the point you're making about cats and, though I love them, I do agree. However if you're talking about vermin we are the single most destructive species on the planet.

Plenty of fines, regulations and laws to deal with those others actions these days and they are increasing.

Cat owners are the only ones who really pay no price for their destruction. Compare how a dog is treated in law compared to a cat.

The cats protection charity are looking for a new trustee to join their charity board.

I think you should apply.

It’s so important to have a broad range of views in a governing body, I think you’d thrive and grow as a person.

They have lovely grounds here in Sussex in the beautiful Ashdown Forest, you’d love visiting the site and stroking the cats, I guarantee it.

Too busy sorry.

Gotta get out to the farm more and support Winchester.
