Under your skin.
I'm sure there was something in the Argus about how El-Abd could play for Egypt if they wanted him.

They Egypt F.A want him to be playing in the Championship before they give him a call up. I can picture it now El-Abd V Drogba/Eto'o/Yakubu.

El-Abd vs Drogba would be one hell of a physical battle wouldn't it.

Actually in hindsight it wouldn't really, Drogba would just keep falling over :(

It might well be a case of 250k now, plus more if we get promoted/appearance/goals etc.

That could be the deal clincher , WHEN we get promotion there is more money due.

will be a great signing, some experience and stability at the back with lots of tenacity...El-Abd back to being the utility man off the bench

Good stuff. Must admit I do feel a bit bad for Swindon, they had a great season last time out when no one expected them to. However, another good solid signing by Gus (to go with Sparrow, Painter, Inigo). No more 'one for the future' crap, this team is for the present and its looking pretty good!

Just read on one of their threads that he's very comfortable playing the ball out of defence. With him, painter and calde we're in for some serious flickyflicky.

The Championship.
They ( Swindon fans ) dont seem very worried that he is going and seem to think Sean Morrison will be able to do a capable and if not better job than him?.

They are quick to point out how stupid some of the free kicks and little stuff he gives away.

Owell we have theyre captain

Trying to save some face. If they'd poached our Elphick, I'm sure we'd be saying that Dunk is ready to step in and take over from him. It's just normal football fan bahviour, pretending a crucially important player who happens to be leaving is actually probably the worst player in the squad anyway, and they've ripped off the buying club. :dunce:

This is what one of their fans wrote on the BBC 606 site last week. £750,000? I think he'd forgotten to take his tablet.

"Sounds like it's been an actual written formal bid, instead of some scribbles on the back of a Jack of Spades. Rejected though, as I would expect, unless they come back with 750k+ Dont think it will be considered."
