I thought Swindon had turned down £250k in our first bid?? Lets hope its true though as that would be a good signing at a decent price! :clap2: :clap2:

Get in! Will hopefully prove to be a great signing.

Like others have said; a real statement of intent signing the captain of one of our promotion rivals and last year's playoff finalists. Just hope it all goes through without a hitch!

I sent a text to a well placed friend and the abuse is coming back in pages. :clap2:

I said earlier in the summer that I didn't particularly want Greer, but nevermind! A real statement of intent, but what I like most is that other clubs can't accuse us of trying to buy success, we're just reinvesting the money from the sales of Crofts and Dickinson.

Looking forward to getting a Greer shirt to REALLY rub it in on the opening day. :D

Everyone's a bit pissed off on the Swidon forums.

greer

Cant say I feel sympathetic. Greer obviously decided that Brighton was a club and a city with a touch of class and Swindon had to let him leave.

"Clearly wanted to leave. No ambition. Good riddance."

It is currently a sideways move and a three year contract would see him complete the second season at Amex. No ambition?

The same person was probably saying "we can't afford to let him leave" a couple of days ago. It's amazing how views change once a player has chosen another club!
