Like others have said; a real statement of intent signing the captain of one of our promotion rivals and last year's playoff finalists. Just hope it all goes through without a hitch!

I sent a text to a well placed friend and the abuse is coming back in pages.

I said earlier in the summer that I didn't particularly want Greer, but nevermind! A real statement of intent, but what I like most is that other clubs can't accuse us of trying to buy success, we're just reinvesting the money from the sales of Crofts and Dickinson.

Looking forward to getting a Greer shirt to REALLY rub it in on the opening day.
