Oi!! Nappy Thrower accused me of being the most negative person on here this morning. Don't take that away from me
You are the most negative twat i've seen post on here.
You mean in spite of their rules? My interpretation, for what it is worth, is that if Barnes was shown a red card the FA will take it up and ban him. If nobody was given a red card the club will get done heavily with a fine for not controlling the players. Fairly certain that as the game is played under the control of EUFA and FIFA the FA will act.
I think you're right. Man Utd appealed but I can't remember if it got overturned?
You mean in spite of their rules?
What part of 2009 do you not understand? If you know they have overturned their own rule after 1 season then say so. Otherwise, where are you getting this from? Working for an FA 30 years ago doesn't cut it.I am not so sure that the rules as shown on here are up to date.
I am not 100% convinced that the rules as shown on here are up to date.
now depends on match report and whether the FA elect to take it up
However, The FA retains the right to charge players in the most serious of misconduct cases and make sanctions applicable to competitive first-team fixtures if it is felt necessary. We shall just have to wait and see what happens. As I see it if the ref reports Barnes he will be banned.
If a player is sent off playing for a pub team in a friendly and the ref reports it he will be banned by the County FA, no question about it.
