To be honest I'd feel a lot better if it wasn't Sunderland

Would you feel better if it was Palace perhaps?

I say good luck to him, Gus and the Black Cats - especially if they stay up at the expense of Palace. The cash we get will come in handy too.

So if I was to be head-hunted by another potential employer who would pay a finders fee to my existing employer I would be entitled to have my fixed term contract paid up in full ?
Yes, you would. It is unlikely to happen as you would negotiate with your current employers but in law, you are entitled as you signed a fixed length contract. You think agents don't try and exploit this?

Bridcutt is under contract to us, if we decide to sell him to another club then we have to pay the remainder of his contract up, why should he lose out on his agreed contract just cause we have decided to sell him to another interested club.

if he asks to leave however, we dont.

sorry ! edited

Liam!

We picked you out, we shook you up
And turned you around
Turned you into someone new
Now five years later on you've got the world at your feet
Success has been so easy for you
But don't forget it's us who put you where you are now
And we can put you back down too.

Well no its Gus Poyet who did all that for him, and Gus Poyet he will follow.

If Bridders signed for THE SCUM he would change instantly from a cult hero to a cult zero.

Bridcutt was Poyets project... His blank canvas so to speak, a raw talented midfielder who was moulded to play a very specific role in Gus's team.

That role doesn't exist in Oscar's team... Bridcutt was the metronome in Gus's team, slowing the pace down and controlling the game - Oscar plays with a higher tempo and attacks quicker, therefore Bridcutt is dare I say it either surplus to requirements, or has to change his game.

Clearly Liam knows this, and the games he has played show that he hasn't been able to adapt yet. Therefore his choices are to attempt to adapt here under Garcia, or go to Sunderland where he can play exactly as he did before, under the manager who moulded him.

It's a no brainer really for both BHA and Liam, the only sticking point is the fee, and I trust the club to get as much as possible.

About £54k if the rumours I heard are true and is one of our highest earners.
 Seriously? £27k a week?

I was told by a very ITK staff member on the last transfer deadline day that he had been offered 22k a week to move to Forest. You think they were luring him with a 5k a week pay cut?

The whole club wage bill is 14 million including office staff. If one player is on £27K a week then the others are on peanuts including Oscar.

He's doing a job. He's trying to get himself a better deal elsewhere. I really don't understand fans who bring emotions into it. Fans love the club, players don't.

100% this - cant believe the judas comments - utterly ridiculous good luck to the lad. I wonder how we would all feel if we resigned from our job to hear our boss call us a judas.
