 very very good news

Really hope he doesn't become a waste of wages, from what I've seen in the ressies, he wouldn't be my choice.

A waste of wages..... i bet hes on pennies

Nah superphils' right.

For what Agdestein is on we could probably afford to buy Gus a bigger telly for his office if we get rid. Why should Gus only have a 32" when he could have a 50" jumbotron, just for the sake of developing a young talent. WHAT A WASTE OF WAGES, GET RID NOW

Proper happy that Bridcutt has been signed up. I hope Navarro follows but since the link with the two from Scotland I have my doubts, would be a shame to lose him.

Great news, both well deserved.
Bridcutt has just got better and better as the season's gone on, fantastic little player.

I just wish Glenn would stop pissing about now (probably his agent ,though) and make up his mind. I can see this one dragging on for ages, will he, won't he.

I think I wrote quite clearly:

"Really hope he doesn't become a waste of wages, from what I've seen in the ressies, he wouldn't be my choice."

I love the way others interpet that. Sorry if it wasn't clear, If it helps, what I mean is, I hope they have made the right choice, and that they know he can make it into the (Championship) first team squad, becasue that has to be their thought process on this. I also added my opinion that, based on the games I've seen him play, he wouldn't be my choice.

So far the current management team haven't made too many mistakes, and if we can grow 'one of our own' to step up and become a first teamer, then more's the better, it's been a while since we did.

Toby is a Viking, so his deal will be the odd bit of church silver and all the maidens he can deflower. ( Not difficult in Brighton.) :albion1:

Where do any of these rumours come from? Your guess is as good as mine.......oh, hang on a minute, it's his agent.

We had the stupid Palarse rumour last week that got everybody going, and when the Palarse manager said he didn't know anything about it, the rumours suddenly change to another club with a bit more ambition than them.
Like I said, this is going to rumble on for ages with all sorts of stupid rumours linking Murray with just about every club in the Championship, so I'll just take everything with a pinch of salt until a deal is done, with us or someone else.

Rant over. Thankyou for listening!

Absolutely ecstatic. Liam and Gary have been immense this season, and sort of makes you think the injury to Navs was a sort of blessing in disguise. Just hope Navs injury hasn't stopped him from being an Albion player in the future :/

Very pleased with those signings, both will cope well with the Championship, in my opinion.

Great, great news. Happy for all 3 of them. Torbjorn makes sense, if Gus likes what he see's, who are we to doubt.

Issue with Murray is money not length of contract.
Albion have a max wage and would have to increase that to meet Murrays demands. Not inconceivable that the max wage will be increased now we are up but probably not to the level Murray is after. I suspect if he signs it will need movement on both sides.
In the meantime his agent (Bobby Bowry - ex Palace!!) is seeing what other clubs are prepared to offer. Palace are keen but again wages may be a stumbing bock - he is unproven in the championship so I would be suprised if he gets the wages he is after - can't blame him for trying though!

But after 2 years I think he is still under 24 so is still an asset. 3 yrs I think he would be a free agent at the end of it. So in those terms it makes sense

Doesn't that only apply to players that you bring through the academy system, not players you pick up at 19-21*? (*as an example)
