A waste of wages..... i bet hes on pennies

still a waste, you could spend hours on the pier with a few hundred pennies, and probably be more entertained.

seems 2 years is the club's policy. Is that a "just in case we don't stay up and can't afford their new contracts" or is it rather "in case we go up and want to ditch them"?

wonder how long before we discover whether Glenn's agent is still touting him round every club in the championship or has given up and lets him sign for us

Excellent news but I must say I dont expect to see Dicker as a regular more of a squad player but this augers well for the summer signings to come.

42 appearances this season, kingpin in the team, I think you're being a bit mean there. I think that we should wait and see how he gets on. Personally, I think Gus wouldn't have given him a 2 year deal if he wasn't planning on him being a regular.

Didn't someone say something similar about Andrew Crofts chances in the Championship when he left us?

Good news in deed. As for Mr Murray, if in fact QPR are chasing him then he'd be a bit foolish not to join them. As a Premiership player he'd make a lot more money and he can't be blamed for taking the opportunity to play at that level.

If QPR are replacing Warnock with an Italian coach I can't see them going for Glenn. It would be a ridiculous step up for a 27 year old who has never played above League 1.

This. Maybe Murray has only been offered a two year deal and wants longer? .

This would actually make sense. If I were Murray at 27 -> 28 years old and looking at potentially the last significant contract of my career I would definately want 3 years. Cant blame the lad for holding out for the best possible deal.

Still wish he would get it over and done with either way so we can get on with 3 months of ridiculous speculation over his replacement .....

2 year deals are good for everybody.
For a start Bloom is hoping to be in the Premier League as soon as possible so not sure if Dicker would cut it in the Premier.
Bridcutt might but sensible from the club, no point throwing three year deals around.

Completely agree. Very sensible. DK used for throw long deals around like confetti. Absolutely no point.

Great news... 3 out of 4, just need Muzza to wake up and realise he is at the best club he can be at now...

Just want muzza to sign so I know who I'm getting on my shirt this year ;)

In all seriousness this is GREAT news, massive fan of Bridcutt, on an 11 a side pitch, watching him has actually helped ME as a shorter defensive midfielder develop as well, probably sounds ridiculous to alot of you but ecstatic he's staying.
Dicker is good news too, been consistently solid for the season, not injury prone either, both will hack it in the Championship, but if that's the case, it mean our midfield central 2 are already sorted for next season....

Personally my wishlist is - GK, RB&LB cover, LM, RM cover, CM, ST.
