Chewing off noses to spite faces is known as Brexit isnt it?
I don't know, is it? Are you asking or trying to tell me?

I can only see 2 possible outcomes in October:
1. Johnson doesn't get a deal and he is forced to seek an extension.
2. Johnson and the ERG sells the DUP down the river and agrees to an all-Ireland customs union arrangement.
Under Theresa May the second of these had been ruled out by both Theresa May's red lines and her needing the DUP's votes. However, given Juncker is about to retire and looking for a positive outcome to his tenure, given the people of Northern Ireland support such a Customs Union and given Boris has staked his reputation on getting a result I think an all-Ireland customs union IS a possibility.
Biggest export market in Europe of German cars are the British. Can they just turn their noses up at us?
They can offset some of their loss by selling more to the Far East after agreeing free trade deals with Japan and South Korea and filling the gap in the market left behind by the decimation of the UK car industry. Even then, there's a strong degree of brand loyalty still in the UK for their cars. They're OK.
they need our Money

It really is tragic some people still claim we hold all the cards.
Desperate.
No they don't, Germany and France will make up the majority of the shortfall. Merkel and Macron agreed that when they formed their ' closer alliance ' recently ( all within the EU of course but just protecting themselves a little bit more in case of any future changes )
Well, it does seem to relate.
You do know that we will still be able to buy German cars yeah? More expensively, but...
really, how much is that going to be then? i assume the people of France and Germany can afford itNo they don't, Germany and France will make up the majority of the shortfall. Is the correct answer.
Somewhat undermines those who spout that all leave voters are racists and fascists though doesn't it?
Your point?
nice one Dave HAS THAT COME STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTHTo protect the integrity of the EU and look after its member countries. Yes.
Point is, I doubt the German car industry is that bothered. As brexiteers keep trumpeting..we can trade with the rest of the world, it equally applies to German car manufacturers.

When they become to expensive to buy due to the EU steadfastly not having a border/trade agreement with us, brand loyalty will be a thing of the past.
I'm waiting for all the Allegros to come creeping out of garages ;-)
