Why do you feel the need to label someone you disagree with? Do you just feel better for it?

I thought you were gently slipping away ?

Even you must see that some of your posts are a little 'dramatic'. (Makes no difference to me, each to their own and adds to the rich tapestry of NSC).

Anyway, since you're still here, which was it you were hoping for, the 'good deal' or the 'no deal' ?

We had our Brexit, why ask me that?

...but in what way should it be implemented? No Deal? May's Deal? Alternative Deal? Are they all crap options so forget it? That's what is being debated... To keep on repeating that we voted to leave does not address how we do it, so it just becomes a pointless mantra....

It should be implemented in whatever way necessary. I didn't vote for either a deal or no deal, that wasn't on the table. It was Yes or No. I am very happy to take a no deal and get out on October 31.

Do you understand the differences between a deal and no deal ? (Genuine question, if you don't have a view one way or the other)

I'm happy to have a debate with anyone that has a little sense in their heads, I don't feel the need to be told how I am reacting, I wouldn't do that to you. Feel free to join in without patronising.

....yes but who decides that and how do they persuade a majority in parliament who sincerely believe that alternatives to their view are likely to be disastrous? Surely you can see that is a dilemma....

Lever, we had a vote, it was straightforward, it was yes or no, it really was that simple.

I don't care with a deal or no deal, however a deal has shirt tails, I am against that. We voted yes or no, no means no shirt tails, so if we don't get a deal I can live with that.

I'll try once more

Well you are happy with either so presumably you think the differences aren't significant

Or, if you think the differences are significant, which would you want ?

But you simply do not acknowledge that it is the 'follow through' on that vote that is causing the problem. Please give some thought to MPs who are trying to ensure we do what they sincerely believe is the best for us..... on all sides of the argument. Meanwhile they are being abused - and in one case murdered for doing their job.

I totally get the fallout, however, the rule of democracy falls on the side of leavers. It is their job in the HoC to follow it through.

I totally answered your question.

I ask you if you understand the difference between a deal and 'no deal'.

You think that is patronising.

So I ask you whether you think the differences are significant or not and, if so, what you would prefer

and you answer

I don't care with a deal or no deal, however a deal has shirt tails, I am against that. We voted yes or no, no means no shirt tails, so if we don't get a deal I can live with that.

WTF ?

I'm guessing the next response is going to be 'but they should just get on with it' :shootself

He's not interested in any of that, Lever. As far as he's concerned, all Leave voters meant leave at any cost, which, as we know, isn't true at all.
Some might have been swayed by the BJ bus, some by the 'taking back control', but there were also many that actually believed that we would leave with an easy/good/best deal.
The hard Leavers seem to be inconsiderate of that.
