Yeah that’s the one, the one that some remoaners insisted the move was because of brexit , or at least formed their reasoning and suggested they would be better off in Holland post brexit because a post brexit non uk country was better even though we told them otherwise that it had nothing to do with brexit.

I did not say it was a Brexit driven decision, I said Brexit would have been a con to deciding to locate headquarters in Britain. This didn't just happen, it happened for a reason, or several reasons, I am telling you that any business making a decision on whether to locate their headquarters in one place or another would consider the pros and cons of each location, and that Brexit would surely have been a con for Britain..

Whether Brexit was the sole reason for the decision is pushing it, but it more than likely tipped the balance.

You however are the complete ####wit who doesn’t know the difference between The European Union (Withdrawal) Act legislated by our parliament and the withdrawal deal we are negotiating with the EU, the idiot who didn’t realise a trade deal comes after we leave the EU and not before and the complete plank who thought the future relationship proposal (chequers) was actually the withdrawal agreement itself that both sides are negotiating and wasn’t the separate future relationship arrangement.

None of which compare to being called a traitor. I have served in the Navy, and worked for the Crown, but now I am a traitor. That is a very emotive word, and easily worse than any of your perceived insults.

I think the bullet should remain to be honest. Pre-brexit vote - GBP was roughly 1.4 to the Euro, now it's 1.1, and never likely to reach that ever again.

Strange post. None of the quote you assembled showed anyone saying that the Unilever decision was Brexit-driven. My own comment - which you reproduced - suggested that the economics and politics of a post-Brexit Britain will mean even less protection against the takeover of strategic industries than at present (see warblings of Patrick Minford). I stand by that.

I'm not worried - really couldn't care what people call me. I was just pointing out the utter hypocrisy of a particular poster complaining about being called something when he is one of the worst offenders ..... it's utterly laughable.

The pound is the worst it has been for a very long time. 2000 saw it at c1.7 against the euro, so saying it "soared" in the last few days to 1.14 is laughable, which is what my original post was questioning.
