You would expect the leave team to go on about it as they were seen as the underdogs yet came out on top and won. Remain however are like a spoilt brat 2yr old who doesn't get there own way and then keeps whining and whining until eventually everybody just gets fed up with them

They certainly have not taken the result well. Even Paul Barber has been blamed.

… or was the bar set too low to account for a rounding error?

Would we get the same result in another referendum held just next Thursday?

Should the requirement to change the status quo have been greater- 55%, 60% or whatever?

Is this mandate to quit the EU with all the incredible implications really valid?

What decision? I am annoyed that the older generation screwed up the future for the younger generation. There's a bit of evidence to back it up and previous polls on who is more Euro Sceptic has suggested the older generation are. It's not rocket science.

you forget us oldies were there at the beginning when it was set up for trade NOT to make it a federal faceless state

Well we marginally voted to leave the EU. Do we get another vote on that once Scotland's gone?

maybe after we have activated article 50 and left the EU properly no free movement and a period of higher prices ........ 15 million remainers are a minority...they can try to get us back in perhaps the EU will have fallen by then or perhaps we will be doing ok....Albion might even be in the Premier.

Good for you, will definitely help to change Thursdays result.

Hopefully, our politicians will grow some balls, and not invoke Article 50 as the majority believe it is a hugely derogatory step for the country, that can only lead to a catastrophe.
Maybe, they will make a decision that is right for the country, even if it goes against the will of the people who voted leave.Part of their remit is to make unpopular decisions, even if unpopular with some. And yes, I do know what this would mean for democracy, but the Referendum should never have taken place,to salve the Right wing of the Tory party

Not dissimilar to your track record since 2003?

We will end the ‘free movement’ of people from the EU and take back control. We will introduce a points-based system under which migrants will be admitted to the UK on the basis of their skills, not their passport.

Statement made by Michael Gove and Boris Johnson during the campaign.

Going back on that would be political and electoral suicide which is why it won't happen. Free movement will not continue.

Free movement of Citizens may end, but if we want to trade, free movement of workers will be on the cards. No one who is here from Europe and working will be told to go home, those that are not working will not be entitled to benefits, free NHS etc. though.
What is more likely to curb migration is that more businesses will set up elsewhere in Europe, creating better work opportunities elsewhere, net migration may even turn to negative as our young pro European population head off to Germany, France and elsewhere where housing is affordable and jobs suddenly more plentiful. Good news eh!

There were big lies on both sides which equalled each other out, but that is the same during general elections to. Its called politics and we are just the pawns

It is the same but general elections are only for five years, not forever.

As for lies on both sides, I agree to a degree but the right wing press have been anti EU and been criticising it for decades while there's been very little pro EU coverage in the papers ever so the remain campaign were always fighting a difficult battle to win. I do think that remain were far too negative though and should have been pushing the benefits of staying rather terrible consequences if we leave.

No idea. It's a very divided, bitter country now. It would have been had the result gone the other way and some in 'leave' would be screaming for a second referendum too.

divided because there's to many people been allowed to swan into this country .....give your head a wobble !!!!!

The silly thing is if Cameron and his team Including Corbyn actually pushed more good news stories rather than the constant bad news ones things would have been different and we would still be in the EU today

Using the term "Sore losers" sums it all up really. This isn't a ****ing game. If you voted leave, why are you denying the damage you've done to our country? In the short term at least the evidence is clear, why are you not concerned about the long term? There is little to nothing to celebrate. I hear all this bootstraps nonsense from leavers, is this the best you can come out with? You've voted for something which has plummeted the country into turmoil, so now we must roll our sleeves up or whatever. Well done....

It was always a problem as young people tend not to vote in the numbers required. Personally, I have always voted in election and cannot understand anyone not voting, especially in something as important as this week.

Must admit I don't think I voted in any election until I was 30. Always thought my vote would not make any difference. Maybe that was in the mindset of some of these

Cameron and Osborne chose project fear instead of just telling the country all the decent things the EU do, but leopards can't change their spots. That is the way the Bullingdon Toffs go about things, do as we say or you'll get a damn good thrashing you dirty plebs

And of course the 1932 German elections saw the Nazi party democratically voted into power. That turned out well

Who saw removing democracy and wiping out any opposition to them to keep them in power the way to go. Yep that sounds like some of the losers in this vote (ie, we don't want to accept the result because we arn't getting our way so will look to force our opinion / will on the rest of the country, sod what the result was as it doesn't suit us)
