So in otherwords the farmers do not benefit so you not want to respond but hide behind a its there somewhere excuse

Ok, you do realise that the horse has bolted and the stable door is shut, but seeing as you are determined to bore me into a response..............

Farmers Weekly poll backed Brexit

Polls carried out by Farmers Weekly have consistently shown strong farmer support for the “leave” campaign. In April, an exclusive Farmers Weekly poll of 577 farmers found 58% said they wanted to leave, while just 31% said they wanted the UK to remain in the trade bloc.

Delighted Derbyshire farmer Michael Seals of the Farmers for Britain campaign, which lobbied for the UK to leave the EU, said: “The country has voted for change – and the farming industry has clearly indicated it wants change.

“We must now all work together, government and industry representatives, to start with a blank sheet of paper to find a new and better way of supporting this industry to enable it to go forward.”

The Country Land & Business Association (CLA), which represents 33,000 landowners in England and Wales, said a Brexit would “bring challenges, but also significant opportunities”.

CLA president Ross Murray said the organisation would work with politicians to address “urgent decisions” to secure the future of the rural economy.

Same in Cornwall.

"Leave campaigners also promised the county would not be worse off in terms of the investment it receives".

Unbelievable isn't it? This county got all sorts of benefits from the EU, yet Boris had the nerve to bring his battle bus to Truro, wave his pasty in the air, and convince everyone that the NHS would get £350m a week.

At least I've got EU-funded superfast broadband to post this on NSC, while our hospital is on permanent "black alert".

Actually, Scotland voted against independence very recently. We have forced their hand. Us. Not them. England and Wales and N.Ireland. I say good on them.

Yeah, they were told if they voted for independence and left The UK they'd be outside The EU and have to reapply for membership.........................

Maybe a troll wasn't the right word but it is one of the worse things about the Internet that people can say what they want on the Internet but won't stand up for them in real life.
But I will stand up for what I believe in in real life. The difference, as I've explained, is that I don't want to argue on the street with everyone in real life, but I don't mind doing it on here.

If you want a forum where everyone is polite and keeps their political views to themselves, I'm sure there are plenty to choose from.

There's been a lot of EU talk on here over the last few months, which I've avoided until today, but I think you are definitely one of the ones I've seen shouting loudest.
NSC mostly supported the remain camp, as did Brighton. I had a different view, and felt the desire to express that view.
I would say if you have such strong opinions, you should stand by them in person
I do, but there's a time and a place.

If I always behaved in public the way I behave on here I'd have been murdered long ago.

I'm a remain voter but I agree with you wholeheartedly.

The votes have been cast, the decision has been made.

So it's time to move on, although there does seem to be a vacuum in terms of decision making and control at the top of the leave organisation.
The leave organisation is not in government, although some of their members are in the governing party. It is down to the PM and the cabinet to formulate the action plan, is it not? It was the government that called the referendum.

Sorry, I'm going to bang on about it, for as long as the leavers have been banging on about leaving, forty odd years should do it

You would expect the leave team to go on about it as they were seen as the underdogs yet came out on top and won. Remain however are like a spoilt brat 2yr old who doesn't get there own way and then keeps whining and whining until eventually everybody just gets fed up with them

What decision? I am annoyed that the older generation screwed up the future for the younger generation. There's a bit of evidence to back it up and previous polls on who is more Euro Sceptic has suggested the older generation are. It's not rocket science.

So why are you not annoyed at the supposed only 35% of youngsters who bothered to vote and let you down?

I want to ensure my taxes don't go towards covering places that voted out and now don't get EU subsidies.

… or was the bar set too low to account for a rounding error?

Would we get the same result in another referendum held just next Thursday?

Should the requirement to change the status quo have been greater- 55%, 60% or whatever?

Is this mandate to quit the EU with all the incredible implications really valid?

Another lefty all for democracy only if it goes their way :tosser:

I am a socialist and voted OUT
and out won
thats real democracy

I just realised that your Brighton football posts are spot on, we differ over the EU though.
