Leave it Out!

No. We voted 'Out'. That means 'Out'. Do you have an alternative meaning for the word 'Out'?
Is it as simple as this? The referendum question was to leave the EU. Would the country be able to sign up to, say the Norwegian model, without any further vote? This model satisfies the "out of the EU" element but it's probably not what people voted for? Or maybe it is? My point being there should be some sort of vote on the exit terms don't you think?[/QUOTE]
This...... especially as we have to trade with Europe on THEIR terms. People seem to forget that in order to trade with the EU as you do with the USA, you have to meet and certificate to certain standards otherwise you don't do business. When we Brexit we still have to jump through various hoops but from now on we have no input. Norway for instance, accepts and rubberstamps many EU rulings on conformity and pays a fee to access the EU free market. Ultimately, it will cost us more to trade with our nearest markets with NO say in the control of those markets........marvellous !

Why would the BREXIT lot want to do business with such a corrupt and unaccountable entity though? I thought the future is with China and Peru?

Don't be daft HT, we're getting the Empire back, that's where the real money is to be made, we trade with them on favourable terms to us because our navy and armed forces guarantee their security and they defer to us ! simples.
Name 3 conformity standards/hoops we wouldn't agree too at the cost of £9 Billion + annual membership fee? ... Marvellous.[/QUOTE
Oops ! you had best read the small print of trading with the EU.. as for your numbers ? are they Net or Gross as in, do they take in to account the money we get back in CAP and other grants ? simplistically it will cost us more to trade with our nearest (ex) partners for NO say. Mind you in Middle Earth those things are not a problem.

Yawn ... name 3 (yes only 3) . Note £ 9Billion only refers to the net contribution to the EU. Middle Earth = the real world![]()

Sigh... we have to comply with EU-EEA conformity rules across a range of trading agreements. Simply if we wish to sell chemicals or financial services we have to comply with EU chemicals or financial services rules .Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein have to accept EU rules in order to trade with the EU yet have no say in the making of those rules... hey ho, never mind
Must work for RBS all their woes are Brexit bound
What law says they have that right? They already had a vote and decided to stay. What about the English, should we be given the right for self determination? The Scots have the right for self determination so its up to them how far they take it
They already voted - did you miss it?The UK has constituent parts. The Scots will get to vote on their own destiny and they will choose. They may stay or they may go, who knows, buts its their choice, not the rest of the UKs.
The sooner we are independent from this corrupt, inward looking, over-regulated, undemocratic club the better
What's the hold up? The referendum was weeks ago.
Point one we haven't defined our new relationship .
Coming up with a Brexit agreement with the EU will obviously take a lot of time. Are you suggesting that once done, the government give us a referendum to accept those terms, or reject them, and if we vote to reject them the government start negotiating with the EU again? That is obviously ridiculous. Is it as simple as this? The referendum question was to leave the EU. Would the country be able to sign up to, say the Norwegian model, without any further vote? You're just saying exactly the same as you said before the referendum, and we didn't agree with you then either.This...... especially as we have to trade with Europe on THEIR terms. Not true .. on many fronts. Point one we haven't defined our new relationship ... are we EEA or something different? And for further clarification EEA means what exactly?.
What's the hold up? - well, it's a big worry. It's mostly about people trying to derail democracy.
