At some point you'd hope the Millions of Tory voters who have seen rowback after rowback might question what they voted for at the last election.
Remember it was stated pre Brexit that on June 30th the EU would be discussing Turkey again. Seems so.

Good grief! Are these Fascist Remoaners still on here trying to bore us oldies to death. If you are that bored, try getting a book (remember them?) on fascism by Benito Mussolini. He was very keen on only party members, graduates, and under 60's having a vote. Then his good mate Ad told him Jews might be a good target too,but he wasn't so sure.If you lot want a meritocracy,or some other bizarre political set up,sod off somewhere like North Korea,or Brussels.Great Britain is a DEMOCRACY!
Is the best outcome of this farce to leave but take a Norway trade deal with access to the common market and free movement but free us to trade directly with rest o the world. This allows us to deal directly with India and other markets the EU have thus far no agreed deals with

If there is any call for a meritocracy stemming from this result it's probably got something to do with the alarming rise of anti-intellectualism, favored by the likes of Pol Pot and a lot of the Brexit clowns like yourself!
So what really was the point? Norway pay per head about the same as us so what exactly have we gained. These deals with the rest of the world will take several years to negotiate and we only have a limited number of negotiators!!!!
Not at all-we have the Aussies.....and the Kiwi's
I wonder if you heard that Merkel said if we want new trade agreements with the EU it will be on the proviso that we allow free movement of people...

Do you really think the Germa... erm, I mean the EU, will give you a Norway-like trade deal, after you have just spat on their biggest post-war political/economic project? Do you really think they will allow you to flourish and let other Union countries observe this and get ideas about leaving too? To expect this to happen would seem perhaps a little bit naïve.

I think it would be naive to suggest that just being upset means they hold all the cards in negotiations. One of the largest economies in the world and major purchaser of their goods and services may be leaving so whilst upset it is not in their interests anymore than ours to put up significant trade barriers.
There are two sides to any negotiation and where there is mutual benefit there will always be room for negotiation however much the EU members states claim there is not.
