Nothing to do with Brexit but back on the subject...

UK loses critical science funding because of Brexit row

https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/jo...itical-science-funding-because-of-brexit-row/

More than 100 grants from the prestigious €95.5bn Horizon Europe funding programme have been terminated because the UK failed to resolve the row over the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Back in fantasy island Tory leaders candidates talk of tax cuts, all unfunded...

It is quite incredible some of the terminally deluded on this thread still regurgitating pre referendum anti EU drivel even years after Brexit's architecht going on national TV and admitted it was a con job to get Boria into No 10

The UK votes to leave the EU, and leave the EasyPass electronic border scheme and the customs union….yet people in this article are blaming the French for not employing more staff to deal with the new manual passport processing and new customs checks. It’s not their problem.

Taking back control.....

"Residents can't get to work, children are stranded on school buses stuck in the mayhem, and businesses are suffering. Stagecoach has suspended bus services in Dover altogether.

He added: "Serious questions need to be asked about how the emergency services would be able to respond to a major incident in Dover when it is completely gridlocked, and how this situation has been allowed to develop yet again?"

To manually process each and every passport and then undertake customs checks takes time. This was all pointed out and years ago and dismissed as project fear.

That's not what the ERG said...

But don't worry, we aren't going to hear of more increases to the divorce bill. The Government have said this is the last time they are going to actually publish the figure. In future it will be hidden within the accounts of the individual Government departments
