Stupidity and Ignorance .... that's booming since Brexit under Johnson....Today at PMQ's ,Natilie Elphike, MP for Dover stood up and complained to the Prime Minister that the almost constant queue's of lorries in and around Dover was destroying her constituents quality of life and that this was " Nothing to do with Brexit " ! Such stupidity should not go unrecognised amongst our Parlimentarians, Dorries must be looking over her shoulder ! El Thick is destined for the top.

Quite incredible how the Vote Leave government have turned her patch into a constant car park whilst simultaneously crashing exports. If its not Brexit what else could it be? Sheep on the road?

Brexiteer of week all day long

In the meantime, Vicky Scott (who voted for Brexit) is complaining about losing her pig farm.

I am interested to know melias shoes, what about JRM's appointment as Brexit Opportunities Minister warranted the awarding of the thumbs up above. Don't be shy

:lolol:

Should be interesting having JRM in such a post. Berlin is aiming to be the tech capital of Europe and their argument against the UK is

1) the UK is a chaotic and politically unstable country.
2) It lags in international investment
3) It doesn’t have a readily available and mobile workforce to call upon.

One can only imagine the scene when the next Steve Jobs, Daniel Eck, Elon Musk sees the state of JRM trying to convince them the UK is a modern progressive nation where they should invest. We’ve already seen the response with Tesla.

Be interesting to hear GT49er, Westdene Seagull and JC Footy Genius thoughts.

Unfortunately, NSC is currently awash with hysterical fannies seemingly intent on portraying the UK as an economic basket case/rogue state. Meanwhile, back in the real world ...

https://www.cityam.com/2021-best-ye...ondon-listings-more-jobs-and-new-futurecorns/

.. plus, of course, the UK had the fastest growing economy in the G7 last year and projected to perform in a similar way this year. Good luck to our EU friends in catching up [emoji106]

It doesn't surprise me; academics are often insulated from the economic realities most of us face.

You edited your unpleasant, libellous post after my helpful advice so avoided getting a ban?

How is that ignore list coming along?

You swerved all my points. Whilst I appreciate Brexiteers are always keen to look to the past for success stories I clearly wrote about the future.

And to cover your points, the new German government has acknowledged we lag in the tech sector hence it’s looking to address this. I find the idea of JRM sitting opposite a tech dude trying to explain why the UK is a stable country with a young, mobile, educated and productive workforce quite hilarious. It would be funny with any Tory, but especially JRM.

Competition is good though, I am thinking we will win this in normal time.

And the G7 comment was made by desperate Boris. If that alone isn’t enough to know it’s bullshit it was also fact checked.

He has to get his story straight, which he has singularly failed to do in the past....

Yes JC will all know you are the bringer of truth

But, despite the £450B of extra borrowing last year it still doesn't cover the 2020 losses

Capture.PNG

"The growth in 2021 comes from a low base in 2020, when the economy fell sharply," Mr Morgan said. "And if you look at where the UK economy is now, compared to its pre-pandemic level, which I know a lot of people do for a broader picture of the economy, the UK is middle of the pack, compared with the G7."

Maybe if we hadn't embarked on self imposed economic sanctions and people like you hadn't voted in the most chaotic government in the modern era we'd be doing better.

After years of pedalling and predicting Brexit economic armaggedon, I suppose it was always going to be the case that 'we would be doing a bit better' if we were in the EU was where you would end up [emoji6]

And after years of backing the Unionist cause whilst simultaneously campaigning and voting for a border in the Irish Sea, I suppose it was always going to be the case that you 'would do a runner' every time you're asked how to resolve the complete **** up you've managed to achieve

I can see your predicament. Do you keep backing Johnson, looking more ridiculous every passing day, or do you simply admit that you have been painfully naïve and add disloyal by accepting the facts that are now staring you in the face. Tough call :lolol:
