Complaing about dehumanising labels while replying to an account called 'Grizzling Gammon' ... comedy gold [emoji106]

Sent from my SM-G996B using Tapatalk

Comedy is so subjective. My favourite is the one about the ardent Unionist who did more for the re-unification of Ireland in 7 years than most Republicans have managed in their entire lifetimes. I'm not sure even Ppf has ever reached that particular height of idiocy :dunce:

Now that IS comedy gold :lolol:

He's not complaining.

Calling someone a 5th columnists implies they are a spy or traitor.

Calling one's self 'grizzling gammon' on a football forum is amusing, in context (which it always is when you reply).

Your idea of comedy gold isn't likely to get you a second series. Not even on Channel 5

Apart from that, another brilliant post, finger on the pulse (emoji not working thought), etc.

Nothing like pulling together H

Regards
DF

Boris Johnson regretted backing Brexit, says new No 10 spin doctor

Boris Johnson regretted backing Brexit before the EU membership referendum, his new spin doctor Guto Harri told a senior journalist after the historic vote. The new director of communications told the New European’s editor-in-chief Matt Kelly in 2018 that Mr Johnson knew he had “f***** up” by coming out in favour of the UK’s exit, according to the newspaper.

Mr Johnson submitted a column to the Daily Telegraph backing Brexit on the eve of the referedum. But he later admitted he had also written an anti-Brexit column saying Britain should “stay in” the EU. The PR man, who formerly worked for Mr Johnson during his time as London mayor, is said to have added: “He knows he’s f***** up massively. Now he’s working out how to get himself out of the mess.”

And the way he got himself out of the mess he created ? By dumping the whole f***ing country in it :shootself

As the thousands of posts on here prove, the 5th column collective don't do smart, let alone trying for 'smarter arguments' ... perhaps better served applying to the prevent programme for deradicalistion .. small steps.

I always thought you were just wilfully ignorant, but it's clear now that you are a genuine **** wit. You have a set of beliefs that no amount of proof to the contrary could sway you from, and you come across like Trump, spouting bollocks whilst claiming the genuine facts are "fake news", and claim others are the ones harming the national interest and sowing discord.

I thought it was always pretty clear.

When it comes to Brexit opportunites are they ones which benefit the country or opportunites for his offshore account, tax dodging investors to make a quick buck?

If these opportunities are so brilliant why does someone need to point them out? Surely they'd be blindingly obvious?

How about getting rid of the Red Tape of border controls at Dover? that would cut costs and reduce delays and is a win win surely?

Latest report by the cross-party public accounts committee ...

https://committees.parliament.uk/co...lped-by-repeated-delays-to-new-import-regime/

Chair's summary..

“One of the great promises of Brexit was freeing British businesses to give them the headroom to maximise their productivity and contribution to the economy – even more desperately needed now on the long road to recovery from the pandemic.

Yet the only detectable impact so far is increased costs, paperwork and border delays.

Good job outside of trade everything is going swimmingly

Where are the Brexit supporters on here when you need a contrary view to argue these difficulties have been factored in and it has all been economically worth it?

Stupidity and Ignorance .... that's booming since Brexit under Johnson....Today at PMQ's ,Natilie Elphike, MP for Dover stood up and complained to the Prime Minister that the almost constant queue's of lorries in and around Dover was destroying her constituents quality of life and that this was " Nothing to do with Brexit " ! Such stupidity should not go unrecognised amongst our Parlimentarians, Dorries must be looking over her shoulder ! El Thick is destined for the top.
