Why were we not warned this might happen ?

"Worker shortage will lead to UK food price rises, industry warns
Wholesale firms have been trying to mitigate rising costs ‘but will not be able to continue absorbing them"
Businesses are having to offer higher wages or joining bonuses to bring in new workers, according to James Bielby, the chief executive of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors.

“Across the whole supply chain there are 500,000 vacancies currently. There is genuine wage inflation, which will lead to food price inflation,” “The labour shortage means you are having to pay drivers specifically more, and that will be passed on.”

I've no idea why Randy is being mentioned in the context of CR's obsession with me.

I, and I think many others, do wish you would leave with bag of shite.

Very good motorhomes yer Hymer.
Post Brexit Britain is BOOMING.

Exactly, Fruit picking, Food preparation, Care Homes, Hospitality, Catering, HGV drivers, there are hundreds of thousands of minimum wage 'careers' for a West Durrington Train driver with their own 'motorhome' and a bit of ambition

The war is over, got to look at all the positives.
No place for negative Nerris.
Post Brexit Britain is BOOMING.

There was and is no war; that's daft Brexiteers' propaganda to represent themselves as valiant victors. Now there is only desperate propaganda from the 'We have left, get over it' lobby whose lies of 'sunny uplands' have been replaced by 'you must believe or you are unpatriotic', repeated in a hopeless quasi religious mantra....

You follow that cult, I look at the evidence for and against Brexit success and draw a balanced conclusion.

One day, you might too......

Deepest, darkest Sussex
Single source repeatedly claiming post Brexit Britain is booming versus a wide variety of sources pointing to post Brexit privations...

Which should we believe?

Hey look, just because our economy is collapsing, food is rotting in the fields and the shelves are emptying faster than a nightclub Michael Gove walks into doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be celebrating the creation of three jobs and an apprenticeship at a hedge trimmers in Fort William, OK?

Another post which has absolute nothing to do with Brexit, you may as well post the weather forecast. Its as relevant...

He's discovered the twitter account Jefferson_MFG, set up by Stuart Whitehead, the failed recruiter from the manufacturing industry who is now trying to make his name as a 'Social media influencer' by running a Twitter account to re-publish every marketing release from that sector. It's the same few manufacturing stories regurgitated over and over again (well that's marketing ) but to be fair, Whitehead seems to be doing a far better job in marketing than when he was in recruitment (damning with faint praise )

Of course, it has absolutely nothing to do with Brexit (either for or against), but the very simple marketing one liners seem, unsurprisingly, to appeal to Baker lite

Brexiteer of the week has to be Lizz Truss bragging about a "potential" £10m / year exports of Pork to Mexico with an image of a Beef steak poached off a Vietnamese website

Capture.PNG

But hey Lizz, never mind the £2B loss to in UK food and drink exports to Europe so far this year

How did Britain get to elect such poor leaders?

Thank you for investigating this strange account. It seems it has generated orgasmic levels of excitement for Leavers predisposed to own any faintly positive, spuriously linked Brexit announcements... Desperate stuff now.

Is this the same Pork as the stuff backing up the system due to there being a national shortage of staff at abattoirs and meat packing plants ?
