If there was a second Brexit referendum how would you vote?

I used to post positive news about manufacturing here, but that got shot down and picked apart saying it wasn't relevant to Brexit, so what's the point.

You used to get responses pointing out that certain things you posted were decisions made Pre-brexit. Others just a company moving to a new factory.

You could never answer how any of your posts related to Brexit.

The Spectator has been predicting the demise of both the Euro and the EU for twenty years. Come back when a reputable source runs it.

I was simply passing on a quote I read in the paper.

I feel it sad that the loudest bullies on here, the ones with least to say, are very quick to jump on people reporting news and illustrating their bias with force and 'I'm right' gusto.

No room for discussion.

Bully? If so, report him. Otherwise don't be a victim.

Nor answer whether his 'mate' worked in the office or the shop floor.

Are you not going to thank me for saving lives and getting jabs in arms?

No because it has **** all to do with you. The most involvement you could have had would have been if you volunteered as a car park attendant at a vaccination centre (which I will happily thank you for if you did).

I think you posted in the right place mate, but it is opinion, not news, and it is in a publication that has a readership desperate to find fault with the EU and any benefit to having left.
Personally, I think the Euro will be fine, and we will be using it here eventually.

It's simply someone pointing out that the same story would almost certainly get a very different headline from The Spectator and the Socialist Worker and the truth probably lies somewhere in between, because it is useful to understand the bias of information sources if you want a balanced view yourself, but I'm sure you knew that

If you didn't, then I'm sure you would find it interesting that Boris Johnson is a former editor of the Spectator. Hope this helps

It is estimated that vaccines have saved around 6000 lives in the UK so far, and this Government did well in securing supplies and setting up the roll out, I didn't vote for this Government, but if you did, and want credit for their successes, you are going to get stuck with their failings too, which to date far outweigh their "wins". If you want to just focus on deaths or lives saved, by this Governments actions, or previous ones, mortality rates have increased since Tory austerity policies came in, in 2019, some had estimated this to be in the order of 120,000 more lives lost than the previous decades rates would have suggested should be expected.

Bear in mind, that is just through lack of funding, because there was no magic money tree unless the bankers needed a loan, or businesses could go bust through lockdowns. I am not saying these things should not have happened, but it does show that money can be found when there is the will to find it.

It’s pathetic isn’t it, even the more intelligent pro EU types on here will laugh quietly at the comment about the euro [emoji23][emoji23][emoji2357]

To be honest I only came back to this thread when an EXTREMELY impressive mod merged it with the ‘Break up the UK ‘ thread.. it has been joyful entertainment ever since, some of the bed wetting has been hilarious, genuinely believe some of the desperadoes need psychiatric help.
